I was liking this store since we first got to Maine. We are new residence in the area from Virginia & this man with Ginger or blonde hair asked for my girlfriends ID due to her buying liquor, I did not touch the liquor or anything was just standing by her and he asked me for my ID. I am over 25 but still technically if someone is with someone buying liquor standing by them and haven’t touched any liquor then they have no right asking for your ID. So while I was grabbing my ID I said oh wow I don’t like this store and he takes the liquor from her and says you can go ahead & have a good day. & told us to move cause he had other people in line. We’ve NEVER not once experienced that until we went to Big Apple. That man was really a racist white man & he need to be fired from there because that was horrible customer service. We did nothing wrong, I made a comment and we got denied service is ridiculous.

Definitely won’t be going back. I gave them $20 for gas didn’t pump it came back in and I had to repay the $20 in gas. They said they would take care of it for me and it’s been a week so far and I haven’t seen my money back, definitely don’t have any interest in going to a place that steals from customers I highly recommend finding somewhere else to go. I most certainly won’t be doing it anymore.

Pumps and store are randomly closed an obscene amount in the past month, I can understand the ice storm being disastrous but it has happened on normal days when there are no excuses and that is a big bummer. Nothing makes a customer upset more than being rudely talked to/gestured at while actively finding out the pumps aren't working and the store is closed.

My boyfriend went in to pay for gas and other things (cigarettes, snacks, etc.) while I waited at the pump. After we pump our gas, which took only a couple minutes, we were leaving when the cashier ran out in front of my moving vehicle demanding we pay for the gas we *just* bought a couple minutes ago. After causing that huge scene and embarrassing me and my partner, I pulled into a parking spot and went inside to figure out what was going on. He argued that he authorized a pump before payment for us, which I said doesn’t make any sense given we were just in here buying other stuff too. Turns out it was a mistake on his end, and he wouldn’t even look me in the eye and say sorry for running in front of my car and causing a scene. Idk what happened to big Apple recently, but it’s gone downhill SO bad and they aren’t even humble enough to apologize for a mistake like that.

Absolutely the worst customer service I've seen in any local convenience store! Every single visit I regret stopping there. Tonight while 7 people are standing in line the only cashier was busy texting on her phone. Next time I'll be sure to drive out of my way to avoid that nonsense.

If I could give a zero I would these poor workers are not protected they have no plexiglass covering them and now requirement to wear masks or gloves during this pandemic this is the only gas station I stop at on my way to and from work and until this is over I will not be coming back! I have heard many employees talking about no hazard pay and now hour cuts! They are on the front lines but are not being treated like essential employees I’m disappointed to say the very least!
