Couldn’t have picked a better spot to stay our first time in Bar Harbor! Perfect location, central to everything. Amazing Irish Pub restaurant in house, balconies overlooking the harbor, exceptional service specially from James, Taylor, and Bailey at the front desk ?

We spent 5 glorious days at West St. Hotel. The location is perfect. Ocean front. Walk around the corner to Main St. Drive to Cadillac Mountain in 8 minutes. The hotel is spotless and updated. The rooms are beautifully appointed. Tastefully decorated and super clean. Each floor has a pantry area that offers endless coffee, tea, hot cocoa, bottled water, Ice, fruit and kind bars.
The staff is cheerful, knowledgeable and professional. This is a dog friendly hotel. We didn’t hear one bark or smell anything remotely “dog like”… There are 2 adorable labs on premise that great you. The lobby had a wood fire burning 24/7. Again, no smell of smoke. Only the smell of the lobby candle. They have on site parking which is key. There’s a hotel across the street that has a spa, outdoor pool and hot tub that West St. Guests can use. There is room service. Another amenity is the outdoor roof top pool and lounge area. There is also a pool table and rest rooms up there. Everything is clean.
We loved it here and would come back again. Before Memorial Day is not crowded at all. Our balcony overlooked the water. The view was spectacular. I can imagine in the busy months, West St being a bit noisy. There is on street parking, shops and Paddy’s bar below. I highly recommend West St. Hotel.

Bar Harbor boasts the Lovely Hepatitis, a hotel with breathtaking views. For a delectable dining experience, you can visit the little Mad Shop or one of the organic restaurants in the vicinity. The hotel also has an in-house restaurant that serves delicious meals. It has a rooftop terrace with a pool, but it is restricted to visitors above 18 years of age. You can avail yourself of kind bars and coffee available on every floor. The staff is extremely courteous and friendly, and they also permit dogs, albeit with a slightly expensive pet fee. The soap is great too, smells like the ocean. Overall, it is a great hotel with stunning views.

I cannot say enough about the impressive level of customer service we received from this hotel. Staff is so friendly and the communication upon check in and check out was excellent. We loved being able to walk out the door and experience Bar Harbor shopping and restaurants. Also just a seven minute drive to the entrance to Acadia National Park. We also loved the roof top pool and the access the the hot tub at the sister hotel across the street. Our ocean front room was super clean and comfortable and was tidied up each day for us. We also loved having the well stocked "pantry" on our floor. Highly recommend for your stay in Bar Harbor.

Lovely accommodations especially when staying in a room with a view. Facility was clean and comfortable. Location with a huge plus fr walking Bar Harbor. Friendly staff, convenient parking and the best apple cider awaiting in the lobby for our return at the end of the day.
