This establishment doesn’t care about our civil rights so to me that also says they don’t care about we the people. And it’s a shame because a lot of the businesses in the area are really friendly and polite. And I’ve got to say the cops that showed up should be embarrassed of themselves

Dissatisfied as bought a ring for almost $400 in Alaska. Huge stone fell out and cannot wear. Emailed them months ago and they stated they would replace as they were getting ready to close for season. I keep emailing and no response. I sent photos and receipt. Disputed with bank. Very disappointing.

I had five star service. Sushi knew my preferences quickly and helped me pick a good piece of jewelry and gave me a good price for it. It was if I had made a new friend.

A short walking distance from Bar Harbor Inn, Miner's Gems is an elegant store with a warm, inviting atmosphere. Sushi and Nick are very accommodating. They are very knowledgeable and patient to make sure you select that one special piece that truly speaks to you. You will walk out feeling like a valued customer!

We had a delightful experience at Miner's Gems in Bar Harbor,Maine. We chose gifts for ourselves for our 50th wedding anniversary. We have taken trips to Alaska and Maine and were looking for something to commemorate this event. We found the perfect jewelry, a white glacier gold pendant for me and a coordinating men's ring for my husband. Sushi and Veronica were excellent at finding exactly what we wanted. Nancy

Very helpful staff, management was willing to work with is on pricing and payments. Excellent experience overall. Store has a good selection of well designed pieces, and certain gem stones that are not common in most jewelry stores.

Sushi and Jacqueline were both incredibly helpful, friendly, and knowledgeable. They guided my partner and I through a deep selection of options at multiple price ranges and across various setting/gem selections. Their prices were fair and they offered items/cuts that I have not seen elsewhere. I’ll be doing business with Sushi and Jacqueline again for years to come.

I was shopping in Bar Harbor and walked into this jewelry store thinking I would simply browse. I was IMMEDIATELY accosted by a tall, thin salesman with thick black rimmed glasses who told me, "This is your day to buy yourself something sparkling and fabulous!" and then whipped out several trays of rings and earrings and plunked them in front of me on the counter and started to yammer on about Tanzanite and how it would look so great on me with my blue eyes. Maybe he was desperate for a sale, but this guy was pathetic. I backed out of the store quickly, pretending to get a phone call and saying - I will be back later! He screamed after me to come back and not leave without a a special piece of bling to remember my trip by.WTF?Maybe there was a hidden camera show being taped that date - but that guy was an over the top WHACKO.
