If you have children don’t even bother going to this store. The middle aged woman working near the jewelry counter is insanely rude, hates kids, and basically told us to leave because our 2.5 year old touched the glass case (how dare she try to look at jewelry). Leaving the store we heard two other families saying the same. Whoever runs the store really should consider another employee and you may make more sales.

If I could give negative stars I would. We walked in to spend $200+ dollars and left spending nothing. The owner or manager had her dog on the counter who started barking at another dog who had come into the store. The counter had a sign that said “please do not pet, my dog has issues” we were simply looking at the dog barking and the owner came over and made a snarky comment saying “just ignore those ladies, stop looking at my dog”. I replied, “you just lost our business” her response: “I really don’t care”. This is not a place I will be spending mt hard earned money. We walked a few shops down and were greeted with the nicest employee where we ended up spending our money. Do not stop to shop here. Waste of time

Horrible ..I repeat ...horrible staff. Stay clear of this place. The staff(one lady in particular) is petty and very rude for no reason.

We had a very bad manager and she was very unpleasant to us. She was dismissive of what we wanted and very rude. My recommendation would be try other shops that have good service and same souvenirs. Don’t let this shop spoil your day.

Came here during my vacation to maine. My dad and I drive over an hour to shop in bar harbor. I come to this shop every year and made sure that I remembered they close at 6pm. I was coming back for a hoodie and a glass lizard. Got to the store by 5:40pm and guess what they were closed!!!! I begged to be let in as the store was crowded with people browsing mean while I knew what I wanted and was then going to leave. I tried to mouth to the guy please I know what I want I'll be in and out in 2 seconds and he just kept saying nope. Go away!! I've been coming to this store since I was 8 and I'm now turning 30. It's really sad seeing a small business owner act stuck up as if they're a corporation with many stores all over... I have my own small business and would NEVER treat my customers like this!! This experience really put a bad taste in my mouth and now makes me really value other stores much more!

Stay away! Store was supposed to open at 10. Line of people waiting to get in and they purposely turned their backs on us. We knocked on door and they ignored us.

Nice little gift shop with all the necessary Maine souvenirs. The staff were friendly and it wasn't terribly crowded when we were here in early June. Well worth a stop if you're in the market for souvenirs.

Hello, I am trying to get a hold of someone at this shop. We purchased a stuffed moose & it was lost in flight. Want to get another one please. It was the small moose with plaid hat that said Maine. The number for your store does not dial thru.

The guy was rlly mean and kept telling customers what to and what not to do. My brother took a break from standing and crouched down and almost instantly was told from the guy to stand up. Terrible customer service.
