My cats only like and play with two toys. 1) coiled plastic springs and 2) catnip toys from this shop specifically. The lobster is their favorite.

This store is GREAT! Popped in just to look around with my doggie and ended up with an adorable hat and a carrier backpack for my tired pup. They really went above and beyond with helping me find the right backpack that would fit her. Along with this, the store has an incredible selection of goods for our four pawed friends. Worth a visit if you have a dog or cat and are in Bar Harbor.

We had such a fun time taking our pup, Bella, into Bark Harbor! This was our first time flying her on any of our vacations and it felt good to be able to get her a treat during our stay. We got her an adorable “Bark Harbor - Maine” leash and some play-resistant balls. We got our cat a lobster-shaped catnip toy as his souvenir. This shop has a little bit of everything from harnesses, leashes, and apparel to ball-caps for pets, calming meds for travel, and homemade, decorated pet treats! They also have free mini-dog bones and a water bowl outside the shop for thirsty pets. The shop owner was so sweet and showed us pictures of her dog as well. I can’t recommend this shop enough!

My friends and I traveled from the DMV area to Maine during Xmas. Bark Harbor was one of the only stores open during the season and we were so glad! Everything inside was super cute, and the dogs loved being there. They had mugs, sweaters, collars, toys, dog treats, and more! The owner was also very friendly and even gave suggestions on which restaurants were open nearby. I would defintiely go back and support this business :)

I stopped by when I was in town to check them out. Primarily the stock is stuff for dogs- treats, cookies, toys, collars, etc. I found a selection of cat treats and cute catnip squares with lobster and crab on them.
My cats are big fans. They will play with the catnip toys for quite a while before they get bored. The whitefish treats smell super fishy! But the cats love love LOVE them. They go absolutely wild when I open up the bag.

Yes, it’s cutesy dog stuff and homemade treats that you’re paying extra for because the package says Bar Harbor. But would you really come home after being away and greet your dog empty-handed? Of course not. The pumpkin treats were a big hit.

Very awesome store! Susan was super friendly and gave some snacks to our furbaby, Zuma! Ended up buying some of the snacks because she loved them so much!

Good selection of treats, leashes/leads/collars, toys, and pretty much everything you can think of for dogs or cats. They also had cute t-shirts for people as well. Well organized store and friendly staff. Prices were fair, would rather support this store than a big store like Petsmart.

Bar Harbor is the most pet friendly town I've ever been to, and Bark Harbor did not disappoint! Awesome selection of treats, all kinds of gifts for pets and pet people. I got some adorable bandanas. The staff was so kind and made my pup feel extra special
