We stayed 3 nights in this hotel and we loved it. The rooms are pretty big and have unrestricted view to the ocean. The place is clean and offers few activities for kids. Easy to access cruises from the pier close to the hotel. The breakfast was very good, with healthy options and very tasty fruits. Easy access to Acadia national park.

We absolutely loved our stay. The staff was top notch all around. I work in hospitality and good service means a heck of a lot to me. The front desk team was phenomenal (welcoming, informative, friendly), the breakfast and cleaning staff were so nice. And everyone was exceptional at their jobs. I was very impressed!
We stayed in the Willows house. It was really nice and something different from your usual hotel room. To me, it felt like the right balance of the b&b look while being a busy hotel. The room was SPOTLESS. I literally laid on the floor (to do some stretching) and there was not even a speck of dust under the bed. I was deeply impressed. We were there for 3 nights and opted to not have our room cleaned each day and still it remained clean. The towels are really nice and the bed was comfortable. I also loved the shower. Nothing fancy but it felt so comfortable and I felt really clean afterwards.
My complaints: The toilet didn’t flush super well, the bathroom door was a sliding door and made a ton of noise, there was a water leak on the ceiling, and the shared balcony was really nice but I felt like everyone could see us from the bathroom and bedroom. We always had to have the curtains closed and at at least one point opened the curtains to find someone peeking in (someone sitting outside from a neighboring room).
We did a boat tour right from the hotel dock. It was a great tour (even on a foggy day) and so convenient. The outdoor pool was nice (though kids were being really loud and splashing - not the hotel’s fault).
The view from our room was impeccable! I am so grateful the sales team encouraged me to book that room when I called.
The breakfast was also great and changed up just a bit each day. Enough to feel different but familiar!
We didn’t try the bistro but would next trip.
While this hotel was relatively expensive, it was not any more than anywhere else and the location and service were outstanding. I will stay there every time we come to Acadia!
Rooms: Our room was really clean, there was a ceiling fan and an AC (hot July visit). And the carpet was lovely. We stayed in the Willows building (B&B style). Had a nice feel to it. And the bed was also comfy! Also I loved the chair in our room so much I want to buy it for home!
Nearby activities: Acadia was so close with 2 easy entry points. Easy to get in and out of the park each day! The boat tour from the hotel (run by another company) was really nice and affordable!
Walkability: Nice grounds to walk around. And a close walk to downtown. Maybe about a mile.
The Cat ferry is right next door - if you’re headed across the pond!
Noteworthy details: Free local shuttle stops right at the hotel to take you in to town so you can avoid crazy parking and fees.

This was perfect for our family of 6 with a one bedroom.
There was a small refrigerator in the room with a small freezer to fit ice screen bars.
The location was minutes to the center of town.
The kids loved the outdoor and the indoor pool.
Our room was oceanside and beautiful views.
Originally we paid for tickets to the sunrise at Cadillac summit but it was cloudy and foggy that morning. The next day the sunrise was right outside our room perfectly you can experience from the outdoor balcony. We could have saved the admission of the tickets to just enjoy from our room! ?
The continental breakfast was the best I have ever had. We have travel the world and this is more than a continental breakfast. They do a fabulous job with the service and the fresh modern take on breakfast food.
The breakfast room is large with indoor and outdoor seating. The selection of the breakfast buffet is like cruse ship with so many hearty options and healthy options.
Also they setup a free make your own trail mix bag with different options each day. The kids love this. For example, gummy bears, pretzels, white chocolate, nuts, etc.
The restaurant on site is delicious and convenient without needing to go into town.
The kids also loved the playset on the grounds. I found out they had daily s'mores, but we didn't get a chance to experience it.
We will stay again on our return to Acadia!

This was a nice place to stay. My only complaint is the toilet in the room we stayed in, as it wasn't working properly. Other than that, it was very spacious.
I liked how they had add-on activities like roasting marshmallows and making trail mix bags. These added to the experience. The free breakfasts they provide for us were phenomenal compared to other hotels I've been to.
It has an indoor and outdoor pool and hot tub, and is close to a lot of parts of Bar Harbor and Acadia. I did not go on the cruise at this hotel, but they also provide one. Great place to vacation and stay. Very scenic.
Nearby activities: Cruise provided, close to Bar Harbor and Acadia National Park

Loved our recent stay here. Lots of activities, great views, solid staff, and easy in and out epically if you use the local bus shuttles.
Would stay again when we're back to explore more in the area.

We booked this hotel last minute and we are so glad that we did! The rooms are clean and have perfect views of the ocean. Sophia, Carrie Ann, and Kelly at the front desk were soooo helpful with finding a room for us, giving us tips on where to visit and gave my son a stuffed animal and Bar Harbor book! The restaurant was amazing for dinner and the included bfast buffet was one of the best! Highly recommend and we will definitely be back! Oh I also love the location and that it is not right near all the craziness of downtown.

The service was top notch.
Our room was clean, well maintained, and had a lovely view. The beds were very comfortable.
Location was great. The free shuttle into town was great.
We ate dinner in the Bistro. Views were nice. Food was good.
Breakfast here was wonderful for a free buffet!
The bonfire and s'mores was a hit with my kids. They also loved the trail mix bar in the morning.
I would highly recommend!

Truly incredible place, can't recommend highly enough. Wish I could give it ten stars, the rooms were incredibly clean, the staff super nice and helpful, the grounds gorgeous, the activities plentiful and they even gave our newborn a complimentary stuffed animal at check in. Gorgeous views of the harbor and bay from our room, and boat tours departing from the hotel grounds. Highly recommend!

We visited Bar Harbor at the end of May and stayed at the Atlantic Oceanside Hotel. We stayed for 7 days. First off, the proximity to Bar Harbor and Acadia was awesome! About 5 minutes away not to mention Acadia Boat tours start at the dock located at the hotel- CONVENIENCE! I can't help but mention the team members that work hard each day to keep guests pleasant by offering a friendly atmosphere by being welcoming and friendly! Everyone was helpful and always had a hello and smile! Thank you for making our stay great! The breakfast was awesome! Great variety of hot and cold items and the ability to eat outside or inside. This area was very clean and inviting. Made breakfast enjoyable. We loved the fresh fruit, blueberry yogurt, eggs and potatoes. As well as the breakfast pizza and other muffins/ breads. Besides breakfast, the hotel has a Bistro and that was great too! Especially the flatbread pizza and desserts! This resort does have a swimming pool and hot tub- we really didn't utilize this because we were busy throughout the week exploring this beautiful area of Maine. The rooms were very clean and the views were amazing! We stayed in the main building and the rooms have an elevated view of the Atlantic! We loved watching the boats and the sunrise and sunsets from our balcony! Overall this hotel made our stay in Maine pleasant and wanting to come back! We made many memories here as a family and enjoyed our time at the Atlantic Oceanside.
Rooms: The rooms were very clean and comfortable. They have a microwave and fridge and a balcony- with views!!
Nearby activities: This hotel is very close to Acadia and Bar Harbor! We loved the convenience to these places! Also we took a fishing charter with Acadia Boat Tours which was located at the hotel!
Food & drinks: Hot and Cold Breakfast items were offered! This breakfast was one of the best I've been to in awhile! The Bistro also offers food and drinks starting at 4.

The room was good, had a great view of the harbor. The breakfast was amazing. I have never seen a hotel that offers gluten free baked goods.
