Rooms are standard. Service just front staff, they are nice. Great location. Really expensive for what it is. I stay here for work, wouldn't stay here for a vacation cause of the cost. Plenty of places you could get near a lake if it was vacation and the cost would be much lower.

Even though it was a one night stay this place provided a wonderful experience. From the front desk who provided restaurant recommendations, to the clean rooms, comfortable beds and let’s not forget the free breakfast the next day! This place is near a lot of event venues and also close to shops and restaurants

To wrap up my stay with this specific hotel/inn I can honestly say that it was an okay stay. However, I did have a dirty room and found trash by the bed. When I had told an employee they said sorry sometimes that happens I was completely upset as I am paying for a clean and professional environment away from the comfort of my home. That takes two stars away from customer service for me. I’m disappointed in how customer service and genuine common curtesy has gone out the window.

Even for a one night stay this hotel was perfect. The rooms are very spacious and clean. The sofa bed in the room was very comfortable. It was a cold night so we asked for a blanket, and one staff member was more than happy to help. The breakfast had a larger selection than most other hotels I've been to. The only negative about the hotel was the odd placement of the TV which was right at the foot of the bed, but that did not take away from our stay. The staff truly care about the hotel and provided us with a more than pleasant stay.
Rooms: Bigger than your average hotel room with a mini-kitchen in the room we were in.
Food & drinks: Breakfast was great with a lot of options and enough tables unlike many other hotels.

Rather expensive yet very much worth the extra funds. The rooms are glorious and the atmosphere is superb.

Rooms were clean, front desk staff is friendly and the facilities in general were clean. The hot breakfast is great and there are a good number of breakfast options. Plenty of free coffee.

We were heading up north for the 2024 eclipse and chose this place to stay. Had no idea how nice it would be. Clean, new, rooms are very, very nice. And the attached restaurant "Timber Kitchen & Bar" is also outstanding.
If you are looking for a view this is not the place to stay. But if you are looking for as nice a hotel as you could find anywhere, this is it.

Hotel is nice. The restaurant Timber that is attached has alot of work to do. Disorganized staff. Food was sub par for the prices. I could tell my food sat in the window too long. FOH manager was holding a wall up for about 2 hours.

This hotel is hit or miss… If your room is on the backside of the hotel, the HVAC fan on the roof of the pool makes your sleep literally impossible. I had to keep TV on all night so it would cover this turbine alike noise from outside. Pool itself is off from 11PM to 7AM, but the ventilation system works all night long, and seems it is not in very good condition as it gives a bad vibrating noise.Update: I have downloaded the dB app to measure the noise - it was over 50 dB!!! According to hotel standards, it should be no more than 30 dB. Otherwise, it stops guests from falling asleep or sleeping well, noise as one of the top concerns for guests…Noteworthy details: This hotel is hit or miss… If your Rom is on the backside of the hotel, the HVAC fan on the roof of the pool makes your sleep literally impossible. I recently stayed at the Residence Inn by Marriott Bangor for a week while house hunting in the area. Overall, my experience was positive. The staff at the hotel were friendly and accommodating, which made my stay more enjoyable. They were helpful with any questions I had and provided excellent customer service throughout my time there. The hotel's central location was convenient for exploring Bangor and its surrounding areas. It was easy to access nearby restaurants, shops, and attractions, which added to the convenience of my stay. However, one minor issue I encountered was that parking could be scarce at times. This was a bit inconvenient, especially when returning to the hotel in the evening. It would be beneficial for the hotel to address this issue to improve the overall guest experience.Despite this small drawback, I would recommend the Residence Inn by Marriott Bangor to other travelers. Its friendly staff and central location make it a great choice for anyone visiting the area.

Very Noisy! Thin walls. Could hear conversations clearly through walls of adjoining rooms. Around midnight I was awakened to what sounded like a herd of elephants above me. Asked to be moved to a top floor and I was put next to the boiler room. Asked to be moved again and was basically told to f-off. It would be a great place if you were deaf. Steer clear.

Excellent dinner at Timber and the perfect location for tasting in a show at the cross center.
