Bangor Petco is a very nice well maintained, clean, isles clear, shelves packed, staff very helpful and polite. The grooming dept, did a wonderful job on my dog.

We were there for a rabies shot for our cat. While there we met four members of the veterinary staff. Every one of them was friendly, polite, well informed, and professional. The cat was out of her box, got the shot, and back in the box, in a matter of minutes. Quiet and quick. The only delay was two members of the staff oohing and ahhing over our cat, and I can’t blame them for that, she’s gorgeous! This cat has had this same shot at a vet in Bangor and another in Brewer. This was the easiest ever, not just for the cat but us too.

Absolutely love this store, only problem is the grooming. Me and my mother brought our dogs in and the lady was super judgmental. Our two dogs were matted because we haven’t been able to get in anywhere for months. She was very rude and we probably will not be coming back.

I really like my local store and the employees are a dream to work with. They know their stuff and aren't condescending in the least. Not like other stores I've been to.

Good option if you can't get fit in anywhere to a vet for updating shots. Vet staff here listened to me when it came to my fearful/reactive dog and quickly accommodated my requests and suggestions to make it a non-eventful experience.

Pricing is insanely high, and not one employee asked if I needed help, or even greeted me at the register. It was pretty disappointing, additionally, the adult man whos name begins with T at the register had very very bad body odor. (Didn't want to put his full name for the world to see, it's embarrrasing enough)

I got a snake and two birds from petco. My sister got a dog. They have all the stuff you'd need to provide and care for any pet and thy have treats and toys and it's easy to get an animal. My ball python was 100 and the parakeets are 50 each where I went.

Under staffed. Waited 25 minutes for feeder fish, ended up going up the road to Pet smart, where I was in and out in 5 minutes
