I have been given the run around by pharmacy not automatically filling my prescriptions. Either it's not in stock or I get calls saying it's ready and is not. I was lied to twice yesterday.

Night manager "Tommy" is incredibly rude. Customer service associate gave push back on refunding rotten produce picked by hannaford to go and hung up on me. Called back and spoke to Tommy who had immediate attitude and cut me off from explaining my situation. not impressed.

Typical of local healthcare professionals, important details are usually not given to the patient.

They ARE clean. The other guy, Dustin, doesn't know what he's talking about. If they approached someone for allegedly stealing, its probably the fact that they have in the past and recognize the person. They're always friendly to me, and I look like a character from a horror movie. I HAVE BEEN USING THIS HANNAFORD FOR 10 YEARS. out of all of the hannaford in the area, this is the best one. The fact that a homeless person was picking for cans, that is more of a social problem, not a hannaford problem. They have to survive also. I saw that review and had to post one. That is not a relevant depiction of this hannaford.

Very clean and well laid-out location. The location of the store is also very convenient because since it is in a strip mall there are other places where you can just make one stop and get several errands done. Although it was busy I was able to get in and out quite quickly and the staff was quite friendly.

This store doesn't seem to understand what an Executive order mandating masks is. They are required by the mandate to enforce this by either having an associate at the door or a Security Guard if necessary. They should be telling each person that enters they need to wear a mask. I would urge you to REPORT these managers if they do not comply with the State mandates.

Like any large supermarket, you might expect Hannaford to be a mixed bag. That said, there is definitely a corporate culture at work which makes shopping here a less inclusive, welcoming experience for some people than it is for others. I'm a trans woman, and my partner is lesbian. We find that the treatment we receive is consistently worse in almost all departments than what our cisgender / straight fellow shoppers experience. For example, when going through the self-checkout with beer or wine, we've had to deal with way too much brusque, gruff, reluctant treatment from the older shiftleaders (hi Karen!) when they come by to check our IDs, including taking FAR more time to look at my (in-state!) ID than they take to look at my partner's. It's gotten to the point that when Karen or the older lady with light blonde hair is working at the customer service desk, we opt to go through regular check-out instead. We have also experienced bad treatment in the meat department, where we were searching high and low for ground chicken and the guy who I presume to be the main butcher was chilling out chatting up one of his friends who was coming through shopping and (although he took the time to look me head-to-toe in a creepy, creepy way) ignored that we were looking for something. On multiple occasions when going to the deli, we have seen the person behind the counter go from completely friendly to the customer ahead of us to cold, nervous, and passive-aggressive, to the point of silently handing us our package of sliced salami and turning away. For the record we are totally sweet with them and it's very clearly got to do with us being visibly queer. The exception to the rule here was the taller guy with a blond beard (he said he'd been working at delis for 13 years) who was very friendly and professional. Things are very mixed at the fish counter as well. If we're unlucky, you'll get the scary guy with the skull tattooed on his neck who gives us creepy stares to the point we change our dinner plans if we see him working there. If you're lucky, we'll get Jenn who is incredibly nice, knowledgable and helpful. I know I'm not the only person who gets the short end of the stick here- only yesterday when I was going through the checkout I saw a young man with developmental differences being checked through by a cashier lady (Kathie S) with short, grey white hair. She was curling her lip at him and being incredibly demeaning when he was having trouble paying with food stamps, so I went over and offered to pay for him (he said no thanks). After that the bagger and cashier kept giving me dirty looks, like I'm not supposed to help people in need. There are a few good people here- Jenn at the fish counter, the tall, older, blonde guy at the deli, Devin at Customer Service. All of these people treat us well. But these are the exceptions, not the rule. I am really not happy that I have to shop here, but I find the other options to be even worse. Hannaford needs to train its people to not do things like stare for needless ages at a trans woman's ID and replace the people who can't get with the times. Shopping here makes me want to cry.
