I had an awful experience at this goodwill. I thrift teacups to make candles out of. I found a couple sets and asked am employee if prices are negotiable (as I don't shop here and have idea). She looked me up and down and then ignored me. I said excuse me to her and repeated my question, she huffed and said "prices aren't negotiable and only managers can change prices but it's not worth asking because they won't change the price for YOU".
The prices on donated items are way too high. Yes they need to profit to cover overhead expenses. I understand that. But they are asking ebay listing prices. That plus the rude attitude is why I gave 1 star.

I found a ninja coffee maker that goes for $210 on Amazon and $230 at Walmart for $25 in the *hand selected* section(which is for and I quote "one-of-a-kind treasures, designer wear, and other specially chosen specialty goods"). The sticker stated *As is* and from a glance in the box it appeared to be missing the pot, I thought no problem! I can replace that easy. Nope. Got to my car and had a moment to pull it out and stare at it because I was SO EXCITED. Low and behold.. Inside was a generic Mr. Coffee pot. How utterly disappointing and disgusting that these employees really did this. Especially when there's generic coffee pots not in boxes in the other side of the store that have their pots and are cheaper. I went back in less than 2 minutes after purchasing this nonsense and was given store credit by the manager who wouldn't even *look me in the eye* and when I called to complain I got the same story and was dismissed with "it's store policy" and was not listened to when I tried to voice my actual problem which was the complete deception. Being given store credit on a giftcard was just annoying becauze I'm never shopping here again and am out $26. ~ Wouldn't have said anything but this isn't the 1st time this store has been a disappointment.

Bathrooms are very unsanitary in the Goodwill in Bangor Maine. They do not get cleaned as well as they should be. They have a chart to tell you on what’s been clean and what hasn’t things get checked off even though they are not done there’s feces everywhere on the toilet on the floor half the time on the walls. If you have to use a bathroom in Bangor, Maine, do not use a bathroom in Goodwill very unsanitary Very displeasing

This store is clean and smells good. Most thirst shops smell rotten but I was glad that it was refreshing inside the store. The atmosphere is wonderful and welcoming. I asked one of the worker’s a question and she was very polite and helpful. She gave me more information than I needed so I understood what I wanted. The donation center is quick and easy, you drop your stuff in a cubby and they bring it inside. The hours are till 5pm for weekdays, I don’t remember the weekend. You can call, I’m sure they would be delighted to answer your questions.

This place is extremely high priced! Saw an item marked $10 flipped it over and had the home goods price still on it for $7.99! Unreal! Will not come back and don’t think anyone should waste their time or money on this place.

Went during the middle of the day and the store was a mess. Half of the clothing items I looked at were either stained or ripped. $10 for a shirt with a giant stain on the front! In there handpicked section they had a disgusting adult baby fetish outfit! Talk about "family friendly" they should be ashamed. Only good thing was that the teenage cashier was polite.
