Purchased pavers from this store to pick up the next day with trailer. Spoke with customer service, did the appropriate paperwork, paid for pavers, and all was set. Got there the next day and the pavers were sold! So they made money twice off these. No one got them onto a pallet and marked them as "held or sold", nor marked them in system since system said they were -2200 stones, yet there were 300 on display in garden area. Their way of fixing it, "the Ellsworth store has them in stock". Over two hours additional drive time for us! If you're buying from here, bring your trailer in advance. It's cheaper to drive empty trailer back home then it is to make multiple trips around the state to pick up something you already paid for!

bought a washing machine August 24. Atlantic Transport was the delivery service they used. The first time they were suppose to come they called and said they didn't have time to deliver because they had to get back on the road to get home. The second time they came which was a week later they came with the wrong name and didn't have any hoses with it anyways. Come to find out they lost our washer and had no idea where it was. Multiple calls to the Bangor store and Atlantic Transport later I got no where. I eventually called the Home Depot main office. 5 mins later they said they found the washer and will be coming a day later. This is the third time now and we wait all day till 6pm. We called Home Depot and they said there still coming there just delayed. We wait till 7pm and call again. Home Depot states they came by at 1. LOL. We were home all day and no call saying they were coming.So after 1 month after giving Home Depot $850 I decided to refund something they never wanted to give me anyways. I WILL NEVER BUY ANOTHER ITEM EVER AGAIN FROM HOME DEPOT!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I had a delivery scheduled and my order didn't show, next day i called and was told the truck broke down and rescheduled me for the next day. Again my order didn't show and i was told the truck was full and couldn't fit my order in the truck then i was told they came back for the order then i was told they didn't know where the driver is but he has my order then i was told they didn't have time to deliver it but will tomorrow. I get being short handed but good customer service is communicating with people, they knew at 8am my order didn't make it on the truck and should have called me. I have things to do but i was tied to the house 3 days waiting for that 14 hour delivery window

My mother called the store this afternoon asking for a product and the person in building supplies told her she had just called and asked for the same thing and he hung up on her. She had not called prior to that. NOT good customer service in the building supply area!!!

ACS carpet installers, hired by Home Depot, damaged 2 walls (holes) when installing our carpet. These walls were brand new sheet rock and two corner walls have holes from slamming the carpet into the corners of the walls. The installers acknowledged they did the damage and we have yet to receive compensation for the damage that we have to repair. They did not clean up after completing the installation. They brought a vacuum but only used it in the downstairs hall - and not well. We had to vacuum all the carpets to remove threads that were all over it. Carpet seams were sloppy and we had to have a second team come in to repair the seams. We had to sweep up screws and nails that were left on the floor of the room not carpeted. They left razor blades in the window sills. We contacted ACS and Home Depot and neither is responding after several attempts.

I had a cracked toilet tank to exchange so I needed to meet with a manager to approve. I waited for 45 minutes to meet with Mandy. Eventually another manager came out and helped me and was great. However, I'm very disappointed in Mandy. It's poor customer service to make a customer wait that long because of your defective product and then never show up to apologize for the delay. The poor guy ahead of me also waiting for Mandy waited at least an hour and also never met with her.

Shout out to Josh and the boys working the Christmas Tree department today! Netted and tied by Christmas Tree to my car while being sweet to my hyper 7 year old! What great service - I hope they're recognized - they were great and I'll be back!

Horrible!!!!! Picked up slider doors....specified we needed one R and one L. Sent us home with Two of same. Made trip back, returned, sent us home again. Only to find(after arguing) they sent SAME one as before......went back AGAIN after manager said they have correct one there......guess what....after three trips....they don't even have the correct one there.....have to make special trip to Ellsworth or Waterville......oh....they may take $100 off for our inconvenience....WILL never, ever shop there again!! Most unorganized, ridiculous place!!!

The customer service at the Home Depot is awful. This store is beyond that. Contacted corporate, they never responded about the issue. Contacted corporate about a specific person via their "survey", never heard back. They don't care about your business, or their customers. That was almost a month ago. Don't expect to hear back. We have a $10000 credit limit with Home Depot and have spent thousands over the years. They won't see another penny. Just got a Lowe's credit card. I might buy nails at Home Depot someday, if Lowe's is closed. Pathetic customer service, poor Mgmt and hideous corporate initiative. This is how they loaded our 1700 dollar doors to drive 40 minutes home down the freeway. BTW, some older man helped my wife buy the straps and tie them down. Home Depot threw it up on the truck and walked away. If you do call "customer care" and get Akuna on the line, hang up. She is useless.

My partner and I have been coming here to get gardening supplies for the last couple weeks. It's your standard Home Depot, but what has really made my experience extraordinarily is Lynn in the garden supplies department. As a trans woman, hearing "hello ladies" from your cashier is not what I am used to. This kind of affirmation really made my day. Thanks so much, Lynn!
