We have eaten here a couple of times, and the sandwiches are great. I would recommend avoiding peak times. We went there on our lunch break and were told it would be 15 to 20 minutes for food (which seemed doable), so we ordered. It was 40 minutes later before our food came out! We had to rush in earing and we were still late getting back from lunch.

Friendly Staff, but inconvenient location at busy plaza in busy intersection and the roast beef sub was sub-par.

I like subs a lot, and never having been to a Firehouse Subs before, decided to give it a try. We walk in at around 1:30 and there is one customer at a table eating and that’s it. We look over the menu and as sort of a standard test for any sub place, we order an Italian and a hero (like most clubs at sub shops) and a birthday cake cookie. Now, I don’t know how they store their meat and veggies, because the making of the sub was all done behind a high wooden counter so you couldn’t see your sub being made, but what a mess of a sandwich. First off, you open your sub box - very cute - and it looks like they used a confetti gun filled with lettuce - shredded iceberg lettuce in the sub, on the sub, under the sub and completely covering the inside of the box. Both subs, same way. But here’s the weirdest thing I’ve ever seen for sub meat - the only way I can think to describe it is they put the meat on the sub without “unrolling” it. You know how you have those nice thin slices of deli meat - it’s like they roll them up for storage purposes and speed, and when they put them on the sub they’re supposed to unroll them and make them flat, but they didn’t bother. So we essentially ended up with a hot dog of deli meat. My sandwich eating experience went like this - take a bite, meat shoots out the back end and you get a mouthful of bread. Try from the other side and meat shoots out the other side, you get a mouthful of bread with a little bit of meat. Rest of sub eaten while holding your hot dog deli meat stick in place with your fingers so that you can’t possibly get your hands messier. The bread/meat combination was “wet”, man I can’t figure it out, and I don’t know if it was the honey ham in the subs or what, but both subs tasted sweet. Gross sweet. Like we couldn’t finish 8 inch subs sweet. They were bad. We ended up going to get KFC. As for the birthday cake cookie we ordered, they didn’t include it in our bag - which we didn’t discover until we were on the other side of town. Thanks! That sure was the topper to an utterly disappointing visit. Keep the buck fifty, never coming back.
