Curran with me, remotely, on my parents behalf, to purchase a vehicle. He was professional and communicative. He touched base as they went through each part of the buying process and ensure what we discussed was executed upon. He made the process fairly simple.

Salesman was great but after we bought a certified used that's when thing's went downhill. We were told in a text message that we had an appointment on a Tuesday @ 10am to have a recondition done for scratch and dent and fix a door trim. Went inside and from the minute I spoke to a rep. I was treated with so much disrespect. They said we had no appointment booked. I asked if maybe the appointment was at their Brewer location, the rep immediately told me they didn't have a location in Brewer. I
said thats odd because I was there the following week at the Brewer location, i said where Greenpoint auto used to be, he snidely said thats on the Greenpoint Rd and we schedule from here to that location. I apologized for not getting the location correct. I called my husband to find out what was going on, he sent me a text stating our appointment. He contacted one of the Salesman who split commission and he said it's his day off and he couldn't help us. I then went back inside to talk to our original salesman. He told me to pull up to the service doors. We went over to the service dept and he spoke with the head technician. The Tech was very rude to the salesman and myself, said he didn't have time to look at the vehicle and to call the number he wrote down and make an appt online. I said that was unacceptable and I wanted to speak with a manager. I stood there waiting for 5 minutes balling my eyes out because I didn't understand why after spending almost $30,000 for certified vehicle I was being treated like a child. No one was willing to help until I
talked to a manager. I was treated like I was a piece of crap. Once I calmed down I followed them outside to look at the car. The manager said he had to make sure they had the rivets to replace the trim piece. Then they would call us to fix it plus recon the car. That was 3 days ago. No word yet. I'm very disappointed seeing that this was the second vehicle we bought from them in two years. The Recon is something we had paid for already, so I'm looking at it as theft of services. As far as I'm concerned they can take the car back and we'll never come back or recommend them to anyone. No one deserves to be treated like that.

I absolutely loathe being pressured by sales teams. My recent experience at Darlings was the opposite of any automotive purchase I have ever made. Mike Leonard conducted himself professionally. I appreciated his no nonsense, no hassle approach to sales. I may buy another car this summer and he'll be my first choice to conduct business with.

I made the trek from the Portland area up to Bangor to lease a new Ridgeline. I was especially appreciative that Darlings was willing to send me up front pricing in writing and honored it when I arrived. The sales representative Curran was outstanding in every possible way. He ensured the delivery was smooth and the vehicle was prepped to my satisfaction. His communication was prompt every step of the way. I'd say this dealer was well worth the trip!

Wonderful Service department. I had an amazing experience all around. I had went to another dealership to put a hitch on my 2024 Nissan pathfinder. They called me told me it was impossible to do it after it had been there all day. I then called Darlings spoke to the service department. We got the parts ordered and they successfully were able to put the hitch on! They also were able to do my oil change and rotate my tires all in that time. I would definitely recommend them.

My starter failed right at the Dealer's! Not a hint of trouble with it and I was there for routine service. Your tech nailed the problem right away and left with all OK.
