Despite its modest size, it boasts an impressive collection that offers delightful discoveries at every turn. While a few prices may lean towards the higher end for trade and mass-market paperbacks, each book is truly remarkable.”

“If you're not a Husson student, it's very difficult to find. It's in the basement and down the hall in Peabody Hall. No signage from the main entrance. But the staff person was friendly and helpful, and they had a good selection of shirts (what I was after).”
“They are Always polite and helpful. The only reason why im giving them a 4 star is i wish they had a restroom. When there is so much to look at in the store and you dont have a restroom... then i have to leave.”
“This is such a great place to get books, novelty items and games. So many options, every genre, including toys and merch from different movies, music, shows, book fandoms. Nice little cafe on premise with a variety of coffee items as well as tea and juices. great spot to spend an afternoon in browsing.”
“After almost two years of studying at EMCC, I can honestly say my personal experience has been very good. The Education program is wonderful and I feel like it has prepared me for the work I want to do in the future. Cynthia and Jane are so supportive and have modeled for me what great teaching looks like. They genuinely want to help you succeed. I haven't had Megan as a teacher, but I've heard great things about her from other students. This is a great place if you are just starting out and need to begin your college career.”
“I was fortunate enough to enjoy a Father’s Day story time at the shop today. I love the Briar Patch but I really love how much they do to try to engage the community. My daughter enjoyed the story time and it was great to spend a half hour in the nicest little, locally owned bookstore in Bangor. Thanks Briar Patch for today!”
