I came in yesterday and was met by a friendly employee who recommended this sour. It was a gift for my husband who was celebrating a new job, and he said it was the best sour he has ever had next to a gin and tonic flavored one that was discontinued a few years back. He couldn’t stop talking about the great flavor. Just wanted to send a message and say it was a great recommendation!

Great beer section filled with local brewery selections. Many Allagash and Maine Brewing Company seasonals that are tough to find elsewhere!

I can’t say enough good things about this store and the people who work here. They were able to make up a lovely basket with hand picked selections for a dear friend of mine. I only gave some small guidance via Facebook messenger because I live 2+ hours away and they made the rest happen and it brightened her day. Grateful for small businesses with personal touches.

This is my go to anytime I come to Maine. Incredible selection of wine at a reasonable price. Staff are always friendly, helpful and knowledgeable.

So disappointed in a formerly favorite store!On two recent occasions, customer service was completely tone-deaf, and I felt anything like a valued customer of several years. (I was the only customer in the store the other day, with 2 staffers, BTW.) Also, the store no longer allows sample tastes of meat and cheese items, with the result for me that I purchased some expensive prosciutto that looked good, but was tough and had no flavor. Yes, businesses have had to adapt to Covid, but I don't know any other food boutique that won't still provide a tiny taste of an expensive item before you buy.I live quite a distance from the store, and it's always been a special treat to look around and buy several things there when I go to Bangor, including gifts for holidays and special occasions. I spent over $100 there last week on meat, cheeses and wine. No more, sadly.

Our favorite wine and cheese and more shop. The staff are wonderful and helpful. Also, a lot of Maine stuff is sold here from beer to cheese to chocolate.

Morgan gave great wine and cheese recommendations my favorite being the Vistabla Malbec and brie. Prosciutto was very tasty too. Lots of variety!

Came in here to pick up a few bottles of local wine and to ask some questions. Not even a hello, I'll be right with you or anything! I guess the older customer you thought was going to drop more money was more important. Eventhough they walked out of the store with nothing right after me.

This shop is lovely! Well stocked with multiple options of wine, beer, cheese and deli items, and unique olive oil / balsamic vinegar options. A little bit pricey but you definitely pay for what you get.
