I recently switched to Bangor Drug Co after being with my previous pharmacy for years! Needless to say, I am so glad I did!! They have gone above and beyond for me with my prescription help and Maddie is TOP KNOTCH! I can not say enough nice things about the process and the people who work there!!

Nice little pharmacy with friendly service. Lots of great little gift options, greeting cards, snacks, and beverages too. They also have a free little library just inside the entrance.

The staff here goes above and beyond to help their customers. I have a specialty medication that other pharmacies don't typically carry. When I asked my local CVS to fill my refill they informed me that it would take so long that I'd run out. Upon calling Bangor Drug and explaining the situation they jumped into action. They made sure I'd not run out by ordering the refills and then mailing them down to me in Southern Maine....now that is 5+ star service!!!!

Went for brown tail moth rash stuff. They had it all together on a shelf. Store is very clean and new, staff very friendly and helpful. Much better than cvs or Walgreens.

Had several months of excellent service and experience here until the pharmacist began to interfere with my non narcotic, uncontrolled pain management medication without legal or medical cause. Pharmacist is snarky, smarmy, egocentric and plays gatekeeper regardless of the effect this has on the client. As a retired veterinarian I have seen this personality type over and over and I strongly recommend going elsewhere.

Worst decision I ever made was to switch to bangor drug. They have given me the wrong meds twice. When I called for refill today the pharmacist hung up on me. All done with mess.

This pharmacy on Broadway in Bangor is what ALL pharmacies should strive to be. Very helpful,knowledgeable and pleasant staff. They have given us all our COVID vaccines and schedule us promptly and answer all questions. The store itself is beautiful and clean and well stocked. Highly recommend to all! 10 stars and more!

3 months ago, I would have agreed. I transferred over to Bangor Drug because my previous pharmacy dropped several manufacturers and I had a severe reaction to the only brand they offered. My doctor explained my history and current situation and Stephanie welcomed me over and I was extremely happy with the entire staff; they were always extremely nice and very helpful! I am a single, disabled mom who suffers with debilitating pain every single day. My entire body has failed me and the only way I have any resemblance of a quality of life is through pain management. I have Celiac's disease and malabsorption so all of my meds are high doses. I have been on my current pain regimen for about 7-8 years now and it works! Apparently, about 2 months ago, they brought in a new lead pharmacist and he refused to fill my prescription without even calling to tell me. My meds were due on Monday and my doctor's office called me at 3 pm on a Friday to tell me he was refusing to fill my prescription. I went in and met him and told him my entire story and his only response was, "Happy Birthday." Bangor Drug claims to be a hometown pharmacy, yet they are shunning one of their own. Without my pain medication, I can't even get out of my recliner, let alone have any sort of life. You can get a smoke safe kit with a crack pipe or go to any marijuana store and get all the weed you need but someone like me, who can't even stand up straight or walk, can't even get the only medication that gives me somewhat of a life and allows me to be a mom? You just can't make this stuff up. It saddens me because I really loved this pharmacy!
