Girlfriend is a diamond member and went in for her birthday rewards. The store told her that they ran out of the product they were giving away as gifts for the day. Behind the counter there are SHELVES of sample products so she asked if they could sub it with one of those. They said no and wished her a nice day. Not a huge deal but it's someone's birthday. You have that program to make people feel special on their birthday. You could have made someone's birthday a bit brighter but instead she's misty eyed. Hope you guys reflect a little because this isn't how you make a reputation for yourself

I usually love going to Ulta to grab my beauty products that I cannot find locally to me. Today, I was looking at perfumes/colognes. In the first 5 minutes of being in the store, there was 3 workers staring down my boyfriend and i within 10 feet of each direction.
We could tell that they were specifically watching us because they kept rearranging or touching the same shelves they have already done. I looked up at one a few times and caught her in the act of staring us down. She would look right down or to the side. The whole time we were browsing, 3 workers were surrounding us. I was getting pretty bothered by it.
When we settled on a perfume, we were rushed to the front. I feel like there are better ways to watch people for potential shop lifting, and this is someone speaking who also works customer service.
We could tell it was managers/higher-ups doing this because the normal employees seemed like they were being held chokehold.

I love to stop in here and check out make up and perfumes! Huge selection and there are * testers* of just about everything!!! No more blind buy disappointments! This store is always neat, clean, well stocked. The staff are very nice to interact with, ask advice etc.
I especially love the perfume section> extensive selection of current and timeless favs. They always have little canisters of coffee beans to sniff/ reset your nose! Good size paper tester strips to spray perfumes on to see what you think...before committing to your skin. They always have extentensive selection of travel sizes and sample sets of perfumes, which I love so much, I just dont know if I really want a $100+ bottle of perfume untill I've had a chance to wear it a awhile. Small sizes and discovery sets in a wide range of fragrances and price range> are just perfect to experiment with. I'll add, their air ventilation seems to be very good...so if you are on a deep dive perfume testing sesh> you won't feel over from perfume over load! LOL.

They were incredibly helpful so kind and sweet and patient with my me! I highly recommend this place if you need help find a fragrance or skin care products! They have a lovely team!

I've never felt so degraded, I just came out of there and I will never come back and I'll make sure everyone I know tell them not to go there. Make sure to train your employees right and let them know not every customer that goes there to buy perfume has the intention of stealing it. Rushing me out for buying perfume. And I was planning on getting other stuff... No thanks, never again. And to think I've spent thousands in this store.

I wish I could give them less than one star. First. I go there looking for a specific lip product and am instantly greeted which is nice, but then they continue to ask if you need help and when you repeatedly say no they continue to follow you through the store. I kid you not I was in there for maybe 6 minutes and the same woman asked me 4 times if I needed help. Then when I saw they didn't have what I needed I went to the register to order it. The women helping me cash out aparently entered the street address wrong, which I didn't find out until my package was not delivered. Now they can't help me. Huge waste of time and money. Happy birthday to me, a terrible experience at your store and then I got scamed out of my product and money.
