Professional, friendly atmosphere, expertise in— Blowouts, color, cut, styling, brows…for all ages.I’ve been a client of proclaimed high-end salons in Chicago area, but Augusta Maine’s Mirror Images I found far superior. Professional, friendly atmosphere, and expertise has me completely addicted—Blowouts, color, cut, styling, conditioning.. its like you’ve found your “hair”home. I’ve been a client of different high-end salons in especially Chicago-land, but Mirror Images is far superior and prices much less as well. Talented young professionals! ❤️

I'm a very fussy girl when it comes to my hair. as my hair dresser moved away I needed to find a new one. I decided to take a chance and call mirror images after waiting 5 months to get my color fixed. I'm so glad I did. Emma did an amazing job and I will be going back with no anxiety. thank you Emma

I have long, pin straight hair, and it's extremely hard to get a good, simple haircut! I've been to see Emma a couple times now, and have received a great cut each time. And at the price, it really can't be beat

I visited the salon last week for a trim and blow dry as a first time client. Emma cut my hair and was very pleasant. However, it's the worse haircut I've ever received. I asked for a layered cut, showed a picture and explained in detail what I was looking for. I got nothing that I asked for and paid $30 plus a $5 tip. My hair looks and handles basically the same as it did before I had it cut. I will not be returning.

Based on these other reviews I was excited to get my hair cut here. I even drove 45 miles to get said hair cut. Unfortunately, I was sadly disappointed in the quality of my cut as well as the service I received. I paid $20 for a 12 minute haircut... 5 of those minutes were so the hairdresser could abandon me in the chair, go and get another stylist because she thought I had lice. I had disclosed that I suffer from psoriasis.. a common skin disease.. instead because it was "falling out of my hair" they thought it was lice because according to them psoriasis doesn't usually do this. In the 22 years out of my 30 years on earth I have had psoriasis I think I would know that is ALWAYS falls out and pulls out of my hair. How embarrassing.. just so we are clear I did and do not have lice. In regards to the haircut I did receive she just evened out my long angled bob.. and that is it something I could have done myself. No layer or angling around the face like I asked for. I saw Annette and would not recommend you let her cut your hair unless you want to be totally underwhelmed and disappointed. Very lazy hairdresser the salon was empty and my mom and I were booked for an hour, we were both done in my appointment time(1/2 hour). I left feeling less attractive and confident then when I went in. They must be the only salon in Augusta to be voted number one so many years unless there is a hidden stylist. Waste of $40; I will continue to travel to Portland and will not be returning.

This place is amazing! I brought my two teen daughters in each for a cut and a color yesterday, and was astounded when they only charged us $65 per kid for gorgeous specialty cuts with vibrant punky hair colors (purple and black on one and emerald green on the other). In addition, it took longer than expected so the hairdresser who took care of them ended up staying almost an entire hour later than closing time to finish them up without letting on in any way that it might be an inconvenience. I can't recommend the place more highly than I do. Both girls walked out looking awesome and got tons of compliments for the rest of the afternoon when we went out to eat and went to the mall. The mood of the place is very chic but comfortable and the people who worked there were super nice and went out of their way to give the girls exactly what they asked for. This is our new go-to place for all things hair!!!
