I pre paid for a rental 3 months in advance. Got there and I didn't have that card on me. No big deal I'll pay with another. Everything went OK until I asked if my prepay would be refunded since I was charged full price. Did the internet contact and the response was call this number. Called a dozen times,put on hold for 30 minutes and no response. Will never rent from them again

WORST EXPERIENCE I HAVE EVER HAD!!!!!! They took my deposit and $100 on top and I’ve been calling for 5 hours can’t get through to a single person!!! The vehicle was returned on a full tank of gas so it can’t be fuel charges. I dropped it off at the dealership and they said they would pick it up the dealership then tells me they didn’t pick it up for days so they called and the employee said oh yeah we forgot about that so are you people charging me because you forgot to pick up your rental?????? Nobody knows no one will answer the phone! Go through enterprise they are way cheaper way more convenient and they actually care about their customers!

This place gave me a reservation # pick up time i get there they refused payment dont believe they had a car to rent i wouldnt count on them to rent a car use enterprise

Juan at the counter was great!!! He locked in a very good rate for me which helped offset my car repair that I was having done. He was very knowledgeable and pleasant. I would return based on customer service.

My truck broke down and I need to have a vehicle. So i used my AAA discount, looked around. Hertz was the most accommodating and best rate for me. I rented a small compact 4 door for 5 days at first. Then with the app, i was able to extend my rental. I ended up extending it two more times without a hitch. A very nice Buick Encore. Clean, comfortable, extremely roomy! Bluetooth, Apple Carplay, Android Carplay, Cruise Control, integrated steering wheel options. The selection was vast. Many cars and SUV’s to choose from. The charges are done daily up until 5 days, then its a week. The rate is amazing. The extras are cheap but WELL WORTH the fee. Insurance. Gas tank pre paid or not, etc. i am lucky to have been able to use this car rental business. Thank you Hertz!!

We had a rental in progress, not related to Augusta location. Our rental car was to be returned in Portland. There had been so much rain, and the wiper on the passenger side shredded to where it wasn't really working. We stopped in, and Michelle helped us out. She explained that they did not have maintenance but sent us to Prompto. They quickly added a new wiper, and we were on our way. We most appreciated the service!

Our 1st time renting from Hertz. First time at the Augusta airport location. Couldn't have asked for a better experience! We had already booked online and they were waiting for us. No hidden charges, immaculate vehicle, smooth trip. The return process was flawless. Very Pleased. Will Definitely use this Hertz location again!

I immediately called after drop off in the cab home that I had several belongings in the trunk and was told i would get a call back. Called several more times over the last few weeks. Apparently they sent the car to Portland after i called never bothered to check the car after my call before sending it and the store manager told me it was my fault. Will never use them again highly recommend going with enterprise even if a little more expensive. At least they actually care about you being reunited with belongings. This is the second time it’s happened the first time they took my disability parking placard and refused to give it back or even mail it if i paid postage and it was a huge pain getting the dmv to send me a replacement. Not kind to disabled people. Do not recommend.
