I brought my dodge in for oil change and sticker...mind you I have beeb a loyal customer in there service department..they found fault with my legal tinted windows and factory lug nuts so decided not to give me a sticker ...after paying 399.00 for tire rotation and oil change...I took the truck to a 42 year auto mechanic and dodge truck specialist...and he said they just want more money out of service because vehicle sales are down..thieves!!!!

I bought a certified Hyundai Kona from a fantastic dealership in Elyria, Ohio, and Darlings is my go-to for repairs in my home state of Maine. There were a few funky initial (minor) issues with the car that Darlings straightened out quickly. I was really impressed by how Darlings listened to my sometimes over-anxious worries about the car - my first new-ish purchase - with patience and attention to detail. They really went the extra mile to make sure I had a loaner car when the car was serviced, and even made sure I was able to pick up the car after hours when I had to coordinate difficult, busy work hours. Definitely recommend!

I used Darlings for a KBB instant cash offer. Their communication before arrival was on point. When I arrived, they looked at my truck and made me a fair offer. Unfortunately, I was not able to sell it to them. However, they gave me advice on how I could increase the value if I sold it myself.
Jeff Joler was professional and prompt with the information I needed.
Mr. Decker was quick to point out the value in buying a new truck from him, with no pressure at all.
While I ended up not buying a Mopar, I would not hesitate to look to them again if i needed a product they provided.
Good Job!

Sure, come call and make an appointment, then you can trust this company to CANCEL it a couple weeks after. Somehow they have a voicemail, with me speaking? (In which I wouldn't speak in such a tone) I'm very suspicious; happy to find another garage besides these awful people.
This company is very misleading.

I bought my car here; Signed up with your financing and paid it off with zero missed payments. I have taken it here for regular service and inspection since. I am about to trade in and buy a new vehicle as this one is getting to about 100K.In March, I brought by car in for an inspection.I also asked to have the cabin air filter changed, the oil changed and a basic multipoint inspection for any impending issues. After the initial state inspection, I was told that one of the rear brake lights wasn't working.I told them to fix it.I come pick up the car and move in with my life.In mid-August someone tells me that my car is way past it's inspection sticker date....I call Darlings and say "someone forgot to put an inspection sticker on my car."Your agent looks up the job, notes that the inspection found the brake light problem. But, there was no corrective action on the invoice.I assure the agent that I told them to fix it and it never was. They schedule for me to drop off my car for ANOTHER inspection (cause it's been beyond the legal 30 days) at a super inconvenient time...although not as inconvenient as getting pulled over and getting a ticket.I am now told I have to pay hundreds of dollars for a ball joint and the brake light seemed to magically fix itself.I talked to three agents so far. All of them refuse to believe anything but the lack-of-information in the invoice. I assure them that I asked to have the brake light fixed when they called to inform me (pretty standard stuff). The only response I get is for them to re-explain the 30 day window for state inspections.... Each of your agents refuse to acknowledge that there was a mistake made. Each of your agents refuse to do ANYTHING about follow up other than explain the situation I'm in at the moment. In fact, I was told by two of them that THEY personally weren't involved in inspecting the car. So, they're not the ones to complain to....implying that I have to somehow chastise the individual mechanic or person I talked to in March for dropping the ball rather than just holding "Darlings" responsible.I'm not looking for a free ball joint. The inspection was free already because I bought the car there. So, I'm not even looking for a free inspection. But, I'm not even getting an apology. I'm getting "there's no way we can determine the truth of the matter from our paperwork and therefore we are neutral...not placing blame and not providing any customer service to alleviate."This is terrible customer service to a loyal customer. Within the next two years, I'll be replacing two vehicles. I NOT be buying them from Darlings. I will not be servicing my vehicles at Darlings. Everyone I hear mention the the word "car" will suddenly get a story of how unbelievably crappy an experience I had with Darlings. Maybe you don't care because I don't spend enough money. But, if you were an honest and fair shop, you should.

DO NOT BUY A CAR FROM THIS PLACE. I purchased a brand new 2022 Sonata last year and have had multiple issues with the vehicle while the dealership refuses to make it right. After 3 months of purchasing the vehicle (which had 70miles on it at the time), my car started misfiring continuously when I tried to start it and the check engine light was on.It’s been 12months now since I bought the vehicle and I have brought it to the dealership 3 times for this same issue. Their solution was to just trade the car!!! I purchased the car for $45,000 and they offered me $24,000 for it.So pretty much what they told me after buying a brand new car which has significant issues my best course of action is to trade it in and lose $20,000.Just to top if all off, I had a dealership pull my “blue link history” and before the car was ever sold to me the transmission light was triggered. They did not disclose this to me when purchasing the vehicle or else I would have simply bought a different car. It’s the definition of a sleezy car dealership

We bought our new 2023 Elantra N-line at Darling's. What can you say but wow...Great experience from the moment we pulled onto the lot and were greeted by Blake! He had a smile for miles and was beyond eager to assist us and answer our million questions. He was polite friendly professional and by the end, we made a new friend. Jason the sales manager and the gentleman in finance were all exceptional in making sure that we were happy with every step. This says a lot, as many of you shopping for vehicles know, you go look at a lot and many times don't even see a member of staff let alone someone come out and greet you.You go in and talk to someone and some make you feel as though you interrupted a good part of their day...Well, not Darling's it was our last stop from a miserable day of car shopping we came in at nearly 5 pm and they stayed late to ensure we left with not just a vehicle but a car that met 95% of the things we wanted (manuals are hard to come by) we sacrificed nothing on our list really and never felt pushed or bothered. (They even keep you well-hydrated while you are in there!!)Honestly, I have bought several cars in my life but this one was the best most memorable experience we will probably ever have!!! So again if you are nervous give them a Chance and let them make your dreams come true!!! Thank you, Blake and team, Blake and team for the laughs the memories, and especially for getting us into such a sweet ride!! We will be back again and we will tell everyone we know Darling's makes it happen!!!Service department has been goodDislike the "call in" process when i have had to call the staff have been less than pleasant. But it is what it is. By the time my car is in i have no complaints!

Service dept tried to scam me for parts I didn't need and never did the service I actually made the appointment for. Emailed Scott Kunesh in an effort to rectify the situation and he never replied.

Staff was friendly and nice but doesn't help me when I buy a soft top convertible and am assured there is no leaks and then it leaks every strong rain storm. Salesman are friendly but when it comes to doing the moral actions for the customer, that doesn't happen. Disappointed with this. If they reach out and offer to replace it, I'll change my review. Otherwise, it stays. One star. Don't recommend.
