Mike Peters was patient, professional, informative, and kind throughout the entire process making sure I purchased what I needed. He made the process very simple and easy for me. I shopped around and did a lot of research. The Hearth Doctor is the place to go for a wood stove and installation. They were direct, honest, clearly skilled in their trade, had great customer service, were willing to explore different options and spend time troubleshooting a very unique chimney and hearth setup that we have. They also put a concerted effort into trying to save us money wherever possible. And the amount of time they spent during the site visit was impressive considering they don’t get paid for this time. Big thanks to their team. The other wood stove outfits were either uninformed and not doing things to code or treated their business like they were running a car dealership.

Tony and Robert installed my new pellet stove. They were professional, courteous, and knowledgeable. They answered all of questions and the entire process from removing my old stove to installing the chimney vent and new stove took only 2 hours. I highly recommend this local business if you are considering a money-saving alternative heating source for your home.

The guys at the hearth doctor were so easy to work with and I can't recommend them enough. I had a new construction and things were delayed left and right. They were very patient about my install and checked in with me regularly to make sure I got on their schedule when the time was right. They communicated with me after the install about what was done, and were fantastic about ensuring the quality of their work after the fact. New construction can be a true headache and this was honestly the easiest part of the entire process! Great people at this shop.

can't say enough good things about this business. I purchased my gas fireplace from them 9 years ago and have only needed service once until this week. Although they were incredibly busy, Bill took the time to call me and troubleshoot over the phone but ended up sending someone out - within 2 days!!! Problem was diagnosed and remedied in no time.

Mike at the Auburn store was a great help. Knowledgeable and friendly. I bought my pellet stove and venting from him and took advantage of their "cash and carry" discount. Would definitely recommend them.
