We go to the petco because it's closest to our house. We brought my pup in for a grooming appointment in September and he came back still smelling! We tried again a few days ago and my dog came back smelling great but had nicks all over him. There was a chunk taken out of his paw pad. I am extremely upset that no one informed me of this. I will never bring my dog to get groomed at this petco again.

Went in for a nail trim and buff for my dog Lindsay S. Did a great job she asked about my other dog on file and i explained a situation she told me to bring her in and she would take care of her. She was great with both my dogs and very professional great customer service skills i will be booking again with Lindsay S.

This was my experience. I went in Petco yesterday to purchse Breeze Multi-Cat Pads. I hadn't been in this store in over a year, and I can tell you I won't be going back. One package of 8 pads is $17.90 versus $9.99 from Chewy. Even when paying shipping, it still behooves one to wait and order from them. I should have waited and ordered it from Chewy. Sometimes they even deliver in one day.

I was very dissatisfied after asking about some issues I've had about my bird ( parrot) when they said they knew NOTHING that could help and scurried away like I had the plague. I couldn't even find the corn bedding because once I spoke to them they avoided me like the plague. Maybe it's the way I looked ! But I can't give a decent rating after leaving there feeling worse than when I walked in. Avoid it like the plague unless they know ya! Sorry Charlie

I recommend it for everything but their warranties on animals. I brought in a guinea pig last Friday that we had for just under the 30 day limit. She had a lump under her front leg. I told them we want her back so we are not returning her. They said they will bring her to a vet to be seen and they will let us know when they know something. So it has been a week and the only time we found anything out was when we called them. I have heard stories of this stuff happening and the people dont get their pet back. That's I think about with is taking this long. we have devastated kids. I have never experienced a vet taking this long with test results.

This location is a 35 minute drive, from where I live, but this is the closest location for my dog to be groomed. We always select Jamie as our Groomer and she does an incredible job each and every time. I am very impressed with her style and the work she does on my dog. She is extremely friendly and you can tell she is very compassionate about her job. I would HIGHLY recommend Jamie for all your grooming needs. Her smile when greeting you is as big as the smile on your dog when they come out all groomed. As far as the retail side, I have not run into any issues yet and all the staff I have interacted with was friendly. I tend to buy most of my dog food and accessories from an online retailer as Petco's prices are a bit on the higher side. If you are looking for a quality and professional groomer, ask for JAMIE!

My dog Marlee had an appointment a month or so ago. I called prior to the appointment to make sure they were still grooming and was told yes by a manager. I drove 45 minutes, showed up, and was told their grooming appointments were on hold. I was upset, but they went above and beyond putting my dog at the top of the list when they reopened the grooming department, and also gave me the groom for free!!! Today my pup went in for her first time, she looks amazing, and even got a cute “spring bow”. Thank you to Lindsey!!!! She was an absolutely wonderful groomer, polite and kind from the minute I walked through the door! I know she took amazing care of my pup the 3 hours she was in her care! Highly recommend Lindsey at Auburn Maine Petco!!!!!

I went to Petco Auburn today to discuss the puppy class that I’ve already paid for and got canceled due to COVID-19. Without sharing the specifics of my situation, I got to say that I have received first class customer service from the professional staff! They are very caring and have a great deal of understanding to the impacts of the Coronavirus on their customers. I wish I can remember the lady’s name who greeted me at the door. Although Petco did absolutely nothing wrong, and if anything, they gave me twice what I expected, she apologized to me on my way out for having to wait a few minutes at the cash register while they tried to figure out an appropriate way to refund me. Whoever you are, Lady, I wish you and the rest of your staff the best and yes, I will always go back to Petco because you are THE BEST!

Really like this place. I have my dogs groomed if the and they love Jamie she gives free snuggles with grooming services. Staff is super helpful and I love they have walk in mini grooming services

we went in twice to get our dogs nails cut because we were told it was a walk in service and got ignored both times. I tried to call after each time to see if we could just schedule it being done and never got a call back. I will say usually the employees there are really good but this past month showed the complete opposite. We now take our dog (and business) somewhere else.

Adopted two kittens about two weeks ago and bought a cat perch same day from Petco. Five days later I started seeing these bugs in my bathroom (bathroom suite where the cat perch was). At first I thought they were ticks because I live out in the country but after seeing three more and getting bites all over my body I really took a look at the bugs and panicked. These are not ticks. We wrapped the cat perch up in plastic and put it outside. Week later finding two more bugs in the bathroom. Called Orkin. Bedbugs. Gross. Thankfully we caught it before a full on infestation. He went outside to look at the cat perch and there was a full on infestation in the perch. I've never had issues with Petco before but do not buy any type of pet furniture from there.

Groomer heard instructions on preferences for Yorkie/Shitzu mix. Grooming took off way more than discussed and not fond of results. Had much more satisfying result at Petco in Westminster CO.
