“I have done two mortgages now with Bob Blackman at Camden, and moving forward, I simply REFUSE to do banking of any kind with anyone else ever again. Bob is just that good.Most recently, I was all approved and set to close on a new house in CT. Earnest money paid, closing date set, everything done. The bank I was using sprung a surprise on me 3 weeks before closing that would have made closing impossible. I would have lost tens of thousands of dollars in earnest money already paid, not to mention the house itself, and would have effectively been homeless. The bank gave me a 'so what are you going to do about it?' attitude, even though they openly acknowledged that it was their fault and they took responsibility for the error. Didn't matter to them, though.I called Bob at Camden at 4:55 on a Friday, freaking out. Not only did he take my call, but he worked over the weekend--WHILE OUT SICK--to get me approved and my mortgage ready in record time.
