This place USED to be a good place to go; I would go for paracord and fabric. If i had any questions, they were always answered and more often than not i was led to the products I needed an given recommendations.But today, service was almost non-existent. I walked in an there was NO ONE around; not at the fabric counter, not at the register.. no where.. it felt like a “Ghost Town”. I had to yell for assistance (an to see if anyone was even there). After a bit, a short young woman came out of what i would assume is the “employees only” area. Asked her for help about some fabric, she looked at me like a deer in headlights; she took me to the fabric and I already knew where the fabric was..I didn’t ask where the fabric was, i asked what would be best for a backing to a cotton fabric for a car.. long story short, she couldn’t help me.In my mind.. i was like “**** it, I’d get better help at a hobby lobby”. So i moved on to pick up some thread then went looking for upholstery glue.. i thought i could at least pick up little stuff while i was here. To my surprise I couldn’t find upholstery glue near the upholstery; so once again i asked for help.. the same employee was asked and I really shouldn’t have expected actual service.. but i had a tiny bit pf hope that this would be easier for her.. I WAS WRONG. She pointed me at some glue that wasn’t anywhere near the upholstery an she also informed me about the glue i already looked at in the upholstery area. All she did was show and tell me where the glue was.. no actual help or recommendations. Just told me where it was and left. ????I WILL NEVER GO BACK TO THIS JOANNS..E V E R ! ! !Your employees are USELESS! Might as well put up an A.I. machine, I’d get more information from that!

I purchased 10 skeins of Bernat blanket yarn through JoAnn's website (Auburn, Me) because they were on sale. What I didn't know was that every skein was littered with single pieces of yarn and knotted throughout. Such a disappointment and definitely frustrating to weave in a multitude of unnecessary ends. This is definitely outside of the return window, especially since I toughed it out and made two throw blankets with the yarn anyway, but I will not be shopping through JoAnn's website again. Just thought people should know...

I always go in for one or two things and end up walking the whole store. Great finds and good bargains end up in my cart and I leave wondering how I managed to spend that much money. I also like how much stuff they have for kids and beginners.

No photos on this trip, but we were looking for a couple of different fabrics and noticed that this Joann's location has a HUGE array of low-priced, discounted, and clearance fabrics and craft items this year! and tons of cool patterns that gave us alot of ideas for future use! So much to choose from! Great store. ?

Very expensive store with minimal staff. They're friendly but there's usually no one at the front counter and you have to wait for them. The fabric is much too expensive to buy here, so I'll only go if I need small items that I can't find elsewhere.

Despite the store being extra busy because of Black Friday, the service was quick and friendly, the store was tidy and easy to navigate. I had been having trouble finding flannel fabric that I liked for a quilt and I found everything I wanted here.
