Wide selection, great prices and friendly staff. Walking around the property with all of the shrubs and trees that are for sale is very relaxing as well.

Buyer be aware due to trying to cut costs Gammons recycles their pots. I get it BUT I just recently purchased a 29.99 plant and I assumed the name on the pitt was the name of the plant.
Once I got home I found out otherwise so I called the young male said to email a picture and Abby could help me so I did .
I week later I called because no one responded to my email. Abby answered the phone so I emailed them again waited five minutes and called back.
Abby gave me the name of the plant with an attitude. No apologies no smiling voice just attitude.
I will think twice before purchasing here again.

We have worked with Gammons since the 1980s. They are efficient, reasonably priced, and willing to work with any budget. They are a local, family owned business and I wouldn't consider going anywhere else. Thanks to them all!

We have worked with Gammons for decades. Their plants are heathy and reasonably priced. Although they may look the same as the big box stores initially, you'll quickly see the difference as they grow! The staff is approachable and they take you seriously regardless of your budget. I am glad to have an opportunity to support this local, family-owned business AND get the best results possible. Finally, it's fun to just wander their grounds and see all the amazing plants that can grow here in Maine.

They have a good selection of plants that are healthy and adapted for zones four and five. They’ve also recently added a greenhouse with indoor house plants which is fun to go into, especially in the winter.

Suggestion: Honor your own policy which states: “Because of the perishable nature of plants we will accept the return of a plant within 72 hours of purchase when accompanied with a sales receipt. The plant must be in It’s original condition and kept watered adequately. Returns will be credited toward an exchange only, cash refunds will not be given.” My husband was treated rudely by employee and owner when they did not honor their policy and argued.

Honestly one of the worst greenhouses I’ve been too. Overpriced for most if not all of ther indoor plants to be invested with mites and other bugs. Little to no pots for indoor plants. I’ve tired so many times with this store but compare to longfellows & broadway gardens I really am speechless with this greenhouse. Workers are always inside on phones. I hate leaving bad reviews but I have nothing good to say about this place unfortunately.
