DO NOT USE THIS CROOK!!! We brought our Lexus to him to have him repair a small hole in my exhaust. 5 hrs later I show up to pick it up and have a $1400 bill stating he replaced the entire exhaust and catalytic convertor. However, he gave me the section he replaced which was only less than a foot in length. While I was speaking with him about this another customer arrived stating he had just had his brakes replaced there, the entire brake system including lines. The brakes continued to malfunction so he took it to another mechanic who showed him the rusted through brakes and lines which had NOT been replaced. This man is charging for work HE DIDNT COMPLETE!!! CROOK. So sad to do this to people!! Stay away!Service: Exhaust

Was told by the owner that he could fix my radiator, he told me he could do it the next morning after I called him- and that he would call me back. didn’t call me back for two days, finally called him- he said he couldn’t fix my car now all of a sudden. And said I never called him back (after he was supposed to call me) When he found out I had the part he decided he didn’t want to fix it and didn’t feel like calling anybody to let them know. Super rude on the phone, wouldn’t recommend. Typical Lewiston auburn attitudes.

They did a wonderful job diagnosing and repairing my vehicle. Their work was excellent. The labor rates are fair for what garages charge. On the negative side, they charged me a ridiculous amount for the part. Auto part stores charge $30 - $40 for the same item. A dealership quoted me a few dollars more. They charged me over $150.00. Not sure why....maybe a mistake. Next time I will ask for an estimate before authorizing the repairs. Quality work for sure....but you will pay top dollar.

Worked with Mike and the owner of the shop, both were professional, were expecting me for my appointment and started working on my truck immediately. Charged me $400 less than another shop and Mike and everyone at Discount Auto Repair actually pick up their phones. From the first step all the way from driving off these guys were awesome. Don't waste your time going anywhere else for your vehicle!

Everyone I talk to has nothing but great things to say about this place! They've been around for over 35 years and treat customers like neighbors. The quality of service is exceptional, and their rates are more than affordable, especially when you consider they aren't always trying to sell you work you don't need. I found them about five years ago and haven't taken my vehicle anywhere else since.

I had a friend come up from two states away to help repair my car. We immediately ran into bolts that had been in place for over ten year and were deciding to sheer off when trying to remove. Panic set in and we called you guys to see if you could help. Dropped off my car one afternoon and had it back the next morning without my mortally wounded transmission pan on it anymore. Thank you guys for hooking a brother up, you have certainly won yourself a customer.
