“This guy (Don, maybe? Can't remember) helped me out several times a few years ago when my old Accord (then later, Mazda 6) needed parts in order for the good people of the twin cities to get their pizza on time. Long overdue review but I was very impressed with how accommodating and friendly he was, cannot overstate that. I'd tell him what I need, make a deal and be back on the road. Had to take the parts off the car myself a few times but that made it an adventure. Sometimes I'd find a part I never knew I needed but the prices were always lower than expected so I'd walk out with a smile, feeling accomplished. It's been a minute, but any time time I need something used, Morris is the first place I call.”

“These guys took great care of me on very short notice for a bumper that was deeply scratched and had many clear coats gunked up all over it, (in a very, very poor attempt to fix it myself but made much worse.) The result after a couple hours here was a like-new bumper. I dealt with Jim who was cool and helpful. All around fantastic experience. I will recommend to all for body work and I would have confidence going back for anything mechanical as well.”

“My car needed service. When the check engine light came on I drove it directly to Emerson with no appointment. Although they were booked solid for two weeks they agreed to let me leave my car and they would attempt to squeeze it in. In the meantime I went to see Brian Dennis who has been our salesman for years. Told him and Vinnie the sales manager if they could find me a new lease before car was ready I would upgrade my lease NOW! Within an hour I had a quote on a brand new lease and the next morning I drove off the lot with a 2022 Buick Encore. Zero miles. Exactly what I wanted at a price I could afford.”

“Aligance Trucks parts employees have been very knowledgeable and have always found the correct parts and will supply parts diagrams to make sure you’re getting the correct part. They do stock a lot of parts you know what they do not stock they can usually source within a day or two. If you’re not in a hurry and can order the parts via the Internet, you can do yourself a favor and save some money but the availability of being able to return a part quickly if it is wrong or effective, makes up for the difference in price of just going to the store and having one of their knowledgeable salespeople help you.I truly am thankful for their stores and their employees, and I have not had a bad experience at any of their stores in Maine or New Hampshire. They could have wasn’t five stars if I had seen more giveback to the community via sponsorships, community food drives or sponsored school or civic group car washes or a yearly customer appreciation day.I really think customer appreciation and giving back locally is every medium and large business best way to say thank you for keeping them in business year after year.”

“Fairly easy to get to on Rodman Road in Auburn, plenty of parking.They have a nice assortment of parts and supplies on display, but their main service is what they stock behind the counter. Ask for Ryan, he is one of those "super duper service technicians", and he can find you what ever you need. Don't know how he does it, but he just has a "parts whisperer" thing going on and he will find you what you need.The prices are very reasonable and they routinely beat the online pricing. They have a lot in stock and I've only had to wait for one or two truck parts to be ordered over the years, and even then the parts were there in a day, but for the most part they will have what you need in stock.All of the guys on the counter have been very helpful. If you don't know exactly what you need, they will walk you through the schematics and diagrams to find the part you need. They are very patient and I've never felt rushed.All around you won't find a better place for truck parts.”

“Napa always has the parts you need or they will get them for you. I do miss the Napa Jobber they used to give out back in the day, however times have changed. lolParts here are going to cost you more than other competitors brick and mortar stores but the quality and the parts person helping you usually makes up for it. On the other hand if you have time to forecast what you need and order the parts online your going to save yourself about 50% from what Napa is going to going to charge you for the same part. Napa has made a profit center from sourcing a part ( just like you can nowadays ) from a supplier or supply house, and marking it up 100% then selling it to you at what that call a bargain. Now if your a “ preferred customer “ or have a “dealer” or “ shop” account they will give you small price breaks so you can again mark that part up another 100% and gouge the customer that dared not know how to find the part themselves and lacked the know how to install it properly without the aid of a “mechanic” that may or may not actually be diagnosing and repairing your vehicles issue properly, or just guessing and replacing parts one at a time until they finally fix the problem all the while at your expense ( that’s what makes up the difference between parts changers and actual mechanics).With all that being said …. Napa is basically just another parts store that is selling the same stuff as every other parts store but more Bougee, with an added expense. They used to be somewhat innovative and spent time and money doing R&D ( research and development) of commonly failed parts, develop workarounds and then bring them to market as a proprietary item but as of late that has fizzled much like the Napa Jobber had. If you have to time and patience to stroke a few keys and look at a screen ( just like the parts person behind the counter is doing while your talking to him or her) then you too can find the same part for quite a bit less. Yes, you would have to be somewhat knowledgeable of the parts and repair game to know who’s who and what’s what as far as quality and longevity for parts but anyone with a mechanical aptitude of a couple years can out perform and come in much lower on the bottom line of your profit and loss spreadsheet at the end of the day when all is said and done. I give Napa 4 stars for their “know how” and there stores availability of parts , The free delivery of parts to shops that install their parts.They could have earned five stars if Napa gave back in the form of customer appreciation or showed more support for the community like hosting car washes for local school sport teams or civic organizations or collected toys for tots or really anything that shows they wanted to be a part of the community that provided for them. ( other than the few N95 masks they donated during the pandemic /// I personally donated almost 1000 N95 masks myself to local health care workers in my community during the pandemic and I don’t own a multi million dollar company/// and a very large amount of sterile gloves which I was impressed with //// correct me if I’m wrong and they already do more than that, please)”

“Service worker was insanely patient with two extremely difficult customers. When I was in there today there was a customer who had an extreme language barrier and he was able to assist him to the best of his ability even was able to give him written directions and parts info for his vehicle that needed a specialty part/service. Then the other customer was someone who knew nothing of their car didn't have their information or anything. The guy continued to run some tests on the vehicle despite the pouring rain that opened up and was able to return inside and continue assisting other customers completely unphased.”

“My wife recently had her car wrecked while parked in a parking lot. Unexpectedly we found ourselves looking to get her a new car. I will be the first to admit we were both very apprehensive when it comes to speaking to car dealerships. Our concerns however proved to be unfounded, as our experience at Evergreen Subaru was delightful. We did not like the first car we looked at but our salesman JD, "a delightful young Englishman" Answered our questions in a respectful no nonsense manner and helped us find a great Subaru Outback that met our needs.
