We had a terrible experience boarding our dogs here!!! I have reason to believe the staff seriously neglected our dogs. STRONGLY recommend fellow pet owners to beware!!!!!!!When my husband Corey picked the boys up from boarding for five days, he noticed that Baxter was frantically trying to gnaw and scoot on his backside in the car. Corey inspected the area when he got home. Baxter's backside was covered with a baseball-sized open sore, crusted over with dried blood and puss. Bax was scooting and biting at his rear multiple times when he went out to go to the bathroom as well as incessantly trying to scratch at it inside the house. Corey took him straight to the emergency vet. It took 7 hours to sedate Baxter, clean the wound, and give him antibiotics. The final bill was almost $600. Baxter has never had issues with dermatitis or developed anything like this in the past and he was absolutely miserable, it was clear as day.Not one person on the Snazzy Pet staff noticed or reported this behavior. There is NO WAY someone actually watching him could have missed a dog suffering like this. NO WAY. This was straight up neglect.Given this terrible experience and the cost of the vet visit, I sent Snazzy Pet photos taken within an hour of Baxter's pickup, explained the situation, and requested a refund. They said a flat no and refused to admit they did anything wrong. They said their policy is basically if you don't notice anything wrong with your pet at pickup, as soon as you leave the building they are no longer liable for anything that happened. (INSPECT YOUR PETS when you pick them up!!!!! Once you walk out the door with them you have NO recourse if you find something went wrong!!!)I wrote back to the owners and told them this felt incredibly unfair - at very least they owed us an apology and some kind of gesture - even a partial refund would have sufficed. I told them if they didn't offer any kind of refund I would feel obligated to leave them a scathing review. They wrote back and accused me of threatening them. They also said that if I sent them the vet bill they would "review it with their lawyer and see if there was anything they could do." I wrote back and said our pet insurance would cover most of the vet bill (it didn't feel honest taking money for this reason) and that wasn't the point. They point is they can't treat people and animals this way. I also told them involving lawyers felt like a ridiculous escalation of the situation, and that the money they will lose paying a lawyer to review this case or the money they would lose from a horrible review would far outpace anything they would spend just giving us even a partial refund. I calmly offered to work together to try to find a solution to this that would feel fair to both of us. They never responded.Even if Baxter's injury hadn't occurred, we STILL wouldn't bring the boys back to Snazzy Pet for another reason. I noticed something strange the first day the staff sent the daily updates - the summary said our dogs were "having fun sniffing the dogs who were playing on the other side of the fence." None of the photos they sent of our dogs included any other dogs. When I asked the staff about it, they said they separated the boarding dogs from the daycare dogs and don't let them play together for health reasons. I told them this seemed really said - our boys are highly social dogs and the whole reason we wanted to board them there at a premium rate was so they could get social time. I asked if our boys could please play with other dogs. The staff said they would see what they could do. Based on subsequent updates and photos, I'm pretty sure our dogs only got to play briefly with ONE other dog the ENTIRE week.Long story short, we paid Snazzy Pet $100 a night for our dogs to be neglected, lonely, and in pain for a week. Just absolutely horrible. I am so frustrated and sad about this. Fellow owners BEWARE about boarding here. We will never, ever go back.

I had called regarding boarding my cat, when talking to the person I had stated all the normal information you would need. We went over the dates/times, about my cat, the boarding options, what they provide, what I need to provide, etc.The stay was going to be $28/night totalling $280 for her stay there and she would be staying with 2 other cats. The lady told me that I would need to do the reservation online and make an account to finalize everything. After the call I immediately went and made the account and made the request. This included putting my card information on their site and allowing them to take a 30% deposit out of my account.Within a half hour I get an email that my reservation was declined due to no room. Weird, I just got off the phone and they told me it was a go and to just finalize online. The message stated to call/text/email to check other dates and times. The next morning (8am) I call and text, and figured I'd hear from them sometime during the day. To my surprise this is 4 days later with no responses from anyone.I find this funny because you really drove home on the phone that you communicate with your clients and send daily updates, photos, etc. while you have their furry family member in your care. Yet, you're unable to communicate with a potential client, this makes me think that your communication with me during my cats stay would have been a lie. While I understand that you have the right to deny service, it would have been nice to return my call/text so I knew if it was a date, time, or just didn't want my business issue. All of the above I would have understood.I am unable to recommend your facility due to the lack of communication and poor customer service.

We just got a puppy after having a very reactive rescue. Getting a puppy into daycare was a priority for us in order to work on socialization and also give him an outlet for all his puppy energy. We looked at several facilities but our top pick was snazzy. They had a waitlist for the daycare program so we got on the waitlist and waited it out. It was extremely worth it. The first day our pup was very nervous and his pawgress report photos really showed a timid pup but by his second visit he was excited to go inside and all his photos showed a happy pup. He comes home exhausted and knows where we are as soon as we pull in every morning. We’ve boarded him once and they made it a point to let us know that he didn’t have any accidents in his kennel. They’ve also made comments about his resource guarding and work to alleviate that. Making these observations make it abundantly clear that the staff has an understanding of dog behaviors and training necessities. If you’re looking to do daycare for your pup, I highly recommend taking them to snazzy.

The groomer did a great job with my Buffalo . He's 14 and blind and can be anxious. But he appeared calm and happy after his care. I will be back, with my pup.

I dropped my elderly springer off for a week of boarding as we were staying at a cottage 10 miles away with family. Their Pawgress report every day was not much. One said he took his meds well the other said he wasn’t a fan of taking his meds. Who knows! I told them several times not to hesitate to call me if there were any questions problems or concerns as we were just 10 miles away. When I returned to pick him up at the end of the week I was handed his bed dripping in urine. No garbage bag, nothing! Hank stunk of urine. Now after having worked for a veterinarian for 36 years I understand about dogs, boarding and how there are accidents particularly with elderly dogs. This had to have happened repeatedly as it was soaked. Also my dog is very vocal and I was sure he would be barking crazily when we picked him up but it was not so. I suspect it was because he had been barking himself hoarse as the next day he sounds like he has laryngitis. NOT a fan!

We used Snazzy Pet to board our three pups while on our honeymoon. They were excellent! We got nightly “Pawgress Reports” that included how they were doing and pictures! They got to play outside everyday and were loved and snuggled by the staff as we would at home. Every staff member was so kind and seemed to truly care for our babies as we do. Would recommend to all!

A wonderful place with caring staff. They put our minds at rest with boarding our dog by answering all our questions. Our dog hung out with the office staff and took lots of walks! I'm really glad my dog was okay here and look forward to boarding her again. Thank you everyone!

I brought my dogs for 10 days because of an emergency situation. When I picked them up my friend immediately noticed one was limping. She had had an injury in the past but was fully recovered. The next morning she was in a ton of pain and crying. It appeared she blew her knee out again, although I'mNot sure how. I was never told anything happened or she had been limping. Obviously something happened there. It would have been nice to get a heads up. Not telling someone their pet was hurt is just bad business.Edit: Thank you for the response. A slight limp didn't alarm me at the time. It was what followed in the days after. I know they had fun and you took great care of them, i don't dispute that. I just would have liked a heads up. Thank you
