This is not just a place for great service. They are honest and will not try to talk you into unnecessary repairs. They fix the problem. It's nice to know that you're working with people who will tell you what you need to get back on the road without upselling you on stuff you don't need. I've been to big-box parts changer shops. I recently ran into some car troubles, and both times I was taken care of extremely well, and quickly! Todd & the staff are very friendly and knowledgeable. I have found a shop I trust, and will be coming here with any issues I may have in the future!

This business replaced the lower control arms on a jeep that I bought , less than two months prior they installed the wrong control arms , it drives like a tank every time you hit a little crack in the road it feels like a giant pothole. When I brought it to their attention, they claimed that once the vehicle is sold they do not warranty any of their work, The work was done in less than two months ago, but they said that if I brought it in they will correct the problem at my expense, now why would anybody bring a vehicle back to a place that installed the wrong parts in the first place is beyond me, I literally have more faith in VIP than I do with past and present auto! I would not let them put air in my tires.

I was on vacation in the area when my check engine light came on. I had called another place first, but they were booking 2 weeks out. Needless to say, I didn't have 2 weeks, I had 2 days before we had to leave. I called Past & Present, spoke with Lou, who also indicated they were booking a week out. After explaining my situation, Lou told me drop It off, and he would take a look. I dropped it off that evening. At about 10:00 the next morning, they called with an estimate. They called me back again at 2:00, and told me the vehicle was all set. They were GREAT to deal with.

I was nervous about taking the car to the garage after my husband passed away. I was sure I would be taken advantage of, and way over charged. My experience with Past and Present was the complete opposite. I was treated with respect and I thought their price was fair. They communicated with me every step of the way, and had the repairs done quickly. I would recommend them to friends and family without hesitation
