Caesar wrap not correct even though the slip showed I ordered it and they got the information.Salad that was part of order was supposed to come with Balsamic dressing. No dressing so had to go back inside and they didn't have that flavor anyways. Only had Italian dressing.Checkout people/owners? impolite and disinterested in the transaction.Sandwich tasted good despite not being correct and that's why I gave 2 stars.

It's unfortunate that such a terrible place has such a prime location, location is probably the only thing keeping this business going because it's certainly not the lack of manners, lack of friendliness, and astronomically overpriced food. I used to look forward to docking the boat and ordering a pizza, but I would much rather pack a ham and cheese in the cooler and eat it soggy than give this establishment a single dollar. Sad.

I wish I lived by a place like this gas station / general store / small grill. We stopped in for something to drink and some chips, 30 minutes later we were back for lunch, because the pizza in the self serve rack looked amazing. The food was GREAT! I got the steak and cheese calzone (shut the front door) 6 stars for that thing. Get the sauce on the side and loose up your belt. Cuz' you're about to smash some deliciousness. Wander outside and eat by the water, you can sit on the ledge and watch the boaters. People were also ordering a bunch of the sub sandwiches, they must also be really good.

Surprisingly super good food!! Every time I eat something from here, it does not disappoint. My favorite is the breakfast pizza, sounds kinda weird but it's sooo good. Comes loaded with eggs, ham, sausage, bacon, peppers, and onions. Other stuff there is also very good, they usually have breakfast sandwiches made and ready to grab and go for less than the price of Dunkin'.

This place used to be SO good. Called last week to order and they had run out of chicken, pork and hamburg.... ON A SATURDAY AFTERNOON! Then the kid who answered the phone would not give me a total, then hung up on me. I used to get pizza from here all the time and it was so great, now it just seems like everyone is aggrivated when you call to order something. Not to mention the last THREE times I called, they were out of a menu item. ATP will not last if they're management/ownership does not get a grip. I like 2 minutes away and would now rather drive 20 more minutes to give another place my business.

The new ownership is horrible. I've been customers of the foot for 35 years, under two previous owners. July 4th week I come to get lunch for the first time and don't have shoes and got a lecture on Maine state law and was promptly booted from the store. The lady was rude about it, it was as if she was waiting to enforce their new rule. I don't wear shoes on my wave runner. The ladies behind the counter can't follow their own handwriting, orders always had one or more items made wrong. And the pizza, that used to be great, taste like frozen pizza now it's not worth the money. We usually buy at least something from there every day we're here but this year we only went three times. Didn't buy our boat gas there this year either. The second order we placed by phone so it would be ready when we got there, they wrote the order down then lost the order and never even started it. We had to wait 45 mins after we got there to get the food. If they acted like their customers were important to them I'd be fine with some incorrect orders. Not one pleasant experience this week. Ted's and Shapleigh Corner aren't far away, go there instead.

After Emery Mills Market disappeared years ago, Acton Trading Post or "the foot" became the only dining option on the lake. For years, we looked forward to daily lunch at the foot, but not this year. The first time we went this year we were met with a very cold reception. The lady at the register is just downright rude. We were very disappointed, as this lady doesn't represent the small town hospitality we look forward to when we come to the lake. The pizza was over cooked and the subs weren't made as ordered. We gave them a second chance and visited for lunch a few days later, which will be the last time we go. My eight year old daughter was very rudely kicked out of the store this time for not having shoes on, and yet again, they botched our sandwich order. Not once, but twice. Very disappointed. Hopefully something changes or some competition pops up before our next vacation. If not, I'll only be by the Trading Post to get from upper Mousam to lower Mousam.

Came here last weekend for takeout. We live down the road and this is the closest pizza joint around. Pizza is good, a little greasy on a small, we had the large before and it wasn't terribly greasy. This place has all your snacks and drinks, and is reasonably priced. The one thing that would make this better? Getting a redbox outside.

Great place to pull the boat up and get a slice of pizza and gas up. Prices are great for the hot food they offer. They also have a good price on beer/liquor (don't drink and drive boats people). I love the breakfast pizza. Bacon, ham, cheese, peppers, onion, and eggs all on a pizza crust. Their crust is amazing by the way. They have a little aisle that has every random thing you may need from medical supplies, to fishing hooks, to who knows what.

Great little store that has most of the basics. Decent beer and liquor selection. Best reason to go here is the breakfast pizza though.
