We love Puddleby!! The owners are extremely nice, you can’t beat the pricing, and my dog loves it here. The place is gorgeous, lots of land for the dogs to run around.

This was my first time leaving my boys at Puddlebys but it won't be the last. I had a bad experience recently at another kennel so I was super excited to pick my boys up after they had been given baths and brushed. They came home and fell fast asleep for the rest of the day which to me means they had a lot of exercise and fun. The cost of boarding was even cheaper than others I've used and the grounds are beautiful. Very happy returning customer here.

We really can't say enough about this place. We've encouraged all our friends and family with dogs to check it out because it's something else. You really have to see to believe. And the value?!?! I just can't. We are very comfortable boarding our fur child here and recommend this business to anyone who loves thier dog.

5 years ago we used them and my dog came home with kennel cough. Because of the great reviews my wife used them again for two dogs and a 10 day stay. 10:25 2024 both dogs are at the vets… both have kennel cough. Both dogs stunk, were dirty, and one had fevers in his fur. Something caused him to have so much anxiety he licked the skin off his testiculs and has a major infection according to the Milton vet. They are concerned!! How could this happen !!!! If you love your dog never ever ever use this place. I will post this everywhere I can. I may see a lawyer to recoup my vet bills now

Friendly staff, adfordable, nice area but idk why smell a little bit inside the office. Not sure from the dogs or just an old place. Looks little antique the inside office but nice the outside.

This is a wonderful place to board your four legged babies. When I moved to NH in 2004, I asked everyone I worked with where they boarded their pet. It was unanimous for Puddleby's

For the record, this business is still open, even though Yelp says it is closed. I have requested an update to reflect this. That being said, Puddleby's came recommended from someone I know who brings her dog for boarding. I currently have a 5 month old English Cream Golden Retriever, and I was planning on going on a ski trip and needed to board him, so I figured I would bring him to Puddleby. I had called and scheduled him going, and the woman who I spoke to was pleasant and asked for us to bring proof of his vaccinations when we dropped him off - which was easy enough. When we went to go drop off our dog, the owner, who is an older gentleman greeted us with "well, he has never been here before." We were in a time crunch and needed the process to go fairly quickly, however, the owner continued talking to us about the color of our dog and how the "lighter goldens are the better kinds of golden." He continued to be condescending by assuming that we "didn't know that," to which we assured him that we knew the breeder prior to getting him. Eager to start the paperwork and process for dropping him off, the owner continued talking until someone drove up to pick up his dogs. At this point the owner told us to sit down because this person had 4 dogs to pick up. By the time this guy picked up his dogs and the owner checked our dog in...45 minutes had gone by. This was our second experience boarding our dog. We have a smart collar on him to track steps. At our other boarding experience, our dog was getting 65K steps a day. At Puddleby, our dog would average 7k a day, which was a drastic difference and indicative that he remained in his stall for a majority of his stay, which was extremely unfortunate as a pet owner. When we picked up our dog, he seemed reasonably happy, however, upon further examination, he had feces stuck in his fur, which again, was also uncalled for. We had to give our golden a thorough bath when we got home. I would not recommend this place to board your dog. The owner is condescending and is clearly only trying to make money off of pets, as they do not get the adequate exercise that they need while staying here. The cleanliness of our dog leaving with feces is also a big concern.

contrary to what others have said, this location is NOT closed. We have been very impressed with the facility and the care for our dog whenever we have boarded him. The boarding cost is extremely low compared to our other experiences. Highly recommended.

I'd stay in their kennels it's so nice. These folks really thought out their place when they built it. Your dog is treated like royalty with regular schedule, beautiful kennels that have tile floors and wooden doors. Not your normal kennel that reminds you of a shelter. And the views, don't even get me started, my dogs are enjoying their time and scenery. Lastly, these folks are extremely reasonable with their prices. Bring your dog food and records, you won't regret it. We will go out of our way in opposite direction just to know our dogs are enjoying their time while we are away.
