The DG has decided to take advantage of the current economic situation. They used to sell their generic store brand items for a little less than the name brand. Now, across the board, they have raised their prices to match exactly to the cent of the major name brands. I won't support this greedy corporation anymore. What cost me $118 at dollar general, cost me $84 at Walmart.

Woodworth Dollar General is typically cleaner than the Alexandria stores. No boxes full of inventory placed on every aisle. You can actually move through the aisles in this location.

Was ok,although the 3 day event sales flyer that was put out by DG Corp caused some headaches for DG managers,employees and shoppers this week. Corporate failed to define what toys they "Really meant" under ANY TOY 75% off and if it didn't ring up right managers were not over riding it in the 3 stores I visited. Bottom line watch you receipts this holiday sales cycle,DG is prob gonna have negative glitches in the system that cost you extra $. Nice newer store in Woodworth,very pleasant manager.

We are over charged for items.We can't go back because were head out of state to move. So cashiers need to pay attention to their job! Because it's unfair to the consumer!

I’ve always liked this location and now with the new manager, it’s even better. Always friendly staff available to help the customers. Store is clean and stays open later than most people expect. Great all around.
