I went in to renew my driver's license and found that there were no ticket numbers to be pulled, so I had to knock on two doors to get someone's attention! There was No one anywhere to be seen within the main area when you walk into the waiting room!! It's very drab, empty and dead looking inside! Only 3 people were sitting in the waiting area, I asked the lady (BEHIND TWO DOORS ONE INSIDE ANOTHER BEFORE I FINALLY FOUND AN EMPLOYEE OF THE ESTABLISHMENT TO SPEAK TO!!! OUTRAGEOUS!) if there was somewhere I could sign in to be seen, she very rudely asked me if I had an appointment, I told her No so she replied with a retort in a very snooty voice "Well then what is your name?" I told her my name and then she says "Well, you'll just have to go sit down and let me finish with my people who have appointments and then I'll call on you IF I have time today."
Dude, it was only 9:30AM and there were only THREE PEOPLE in there!! And since when must an appointment need to be made in order to renew a driver's license anyway!?!?!?! WHAT THE HELL IS GOING ON IN WESTWEGO, YA'LL!?!?! LORD HAVE MERCY!! ?
They act like they're supposed to be driving those little short yellow busses to work.. I'm just saying!! ??

Most (not all) of the employees here are extremely rude. It's ridiculous. It's not like the lady was "having a bad day" either, because we came two days back to back and she was rude both times.

It was a good experience the girl that helped us was very knowledgeable and you had to get things done ended up having to go back but she made it so that when I had to come back I had everything that was needed even though I thought I had everything in the beginning there was stuff in the computer that she had no control over so I had to go take care of that straighten out some things with another state but everything ended up working out when I came back it was only a few minutes because she remembered me and she completely was organized and efficient and had me in and out in 5 minutes

Amanda was rude and prejudiced!!! She judged my boyfriend based on his dreads??!!! She basically told him that he have to come back when his eyes are open as if he was under the influence! That was so UNPROFESSIONAL coming from an “corporate office” she judged the fact that he had dreads in his head and based on how he looked that he was high! She needs to be fired ASAP!

Horrible customer service, extremely rude. Then you have appt. And they are super late. Went to ask about it lady was so rude. They need to have someone in front do you cam ask questions and not be treated so rudely

Make an appointment first! But overall is pretty quick and staff are nice. Beats going to the state building
