We have heard about this place, but was hesitant to go. I am glad I did. The selection is amazing! Brad was very pleasant and super helpful. I chose only four plant, but as soon as I find more space(aka dig up more grass) I am coming back for more. If you are looking for some beautiful ginger plants, other than the typical garden center variety, please visit this place! I can't wait to go back! The prices are more than fair and the selection is great. Just to see the ones around the property is worth it. A hidden gem of a plant place!

Amazing. Nursery!! The grounds are incredible. This is not your average plant place. They had incredible gingers and species I've never seen before. Bradley was extremely knowledgeable and super friendly. Reasonable pricing and well worth the trip. I would highly recommend Nine Mile Nursery to anyone looking to beautify their gardens.

This past Sunday I attempted to go for the first time to the 'nursery'. Driving up a long and desolate drive no one was around to help and the place look like no one was there is some time. Great place for a horror movie. One and done

Bradley is fantastic to talk with, he knows everything about plants and then some. Very healthy ginger, turmeric, bananas, etc. It’s a remarkable location to see and visit.

Wow! What a wonderful experience! Bradley, the owner, is a fantastic guide into the world of gingers, bananas, jasmine, and a myriad of plants. The location is lush and transportive to a quiet, rich world of palms, gingers, elephant ears, and all things tropical. We couldn't have asked for a more friendly and informative person to help us than Bradley. The plants are so very healthy and well cared for it made choosing which ones to bring home hard! We ended up with as many as could fit in our car and bonus cuttings to boot! Treat yourself (or the plant lover in your life) to an afternoon of rare and unusual gingers and tropicals-you won't be disappointed.

When I say that we stumbled upon this place, that is no exaggeration. We were looking for a place to turn around and saw the sign for this nursery. We turned into an almost overgrown path/driveway and slowly made our way down. Every 40-50 feet, there was a sign encouraging us to keep going. We figured this could be really cool or we were setting ourselves up for getting slaughtered...but hey, it was Black Friday so it was appropriate, I guess. We finally get to a parking spot that told us to honk...we we did. A large man in a mask ran to the car, with a pick-axe overhead and put it firmly into The Girly's skull. So I jumped back Into the car and drove for help. Ok, not really. We were greeted warmly and shown around the grounds by Bradley, who told us the grounds and house were used in over 70 feature films. Seems it's the perfect spot for horror movies. The house perfectly encapsulates a Gulf style Old South 1800s mansion. As for the nursery; their specialties are exotics, gingers, and plants made for growing well in this area. Bradley's family has been running the business since the 1800s and are responsible for many of the oak trees lining the neutral zones of the city. The prices are quite low for what they offer and we really wish we'd had cash because they had one of the most beautifully fragrant flowering ginger plants we've ever seen. Really looking forward to going back. A fun experience and really friendly service. P.S. be brave and follow the signs.
