I was blown away when I walked into this gallery and to learn that Josh grew up in Westwego was icing on the cake. He is mad talented and I want to tell all my friends near and far about this gallery.

We dropped by on a Saturday to see the studio. Josh was there and it was wonderful to meet him. He showed us around the whole building and even took us upstairs to show is his workspace. His art is beautiful and i look forward to buying a piece very soon.

Got a quote from Lee at Peaches for the 6'x5' Jimi Hendrix in the window done by Josh Wingerter. Went in to buy it and the price doubled! Not a very professional thing to do. Maybe it was Peaches that did that, or maybe it was Josh Wingerter himself. Not sure but either way I'm turned off...

Such a cool place! Definitely a must see just a short drive across the river from New Orleans. Nothing stuffy about this gallery it's a whole vibe I wanna experience more when I'm viewing art!

I am obsessed with modern and contemporary art galleries and museums, so I was absolutely shocked to learn this gallery existed within the New Orleans area. His art is very reminiscent of Jeff Koons, Roy Lichtenstein, Andy Warhol, Yayoi Kusama, and similar artists within this parallel universe. The gallery is free to visit and it's massive. I was in awe of how much space there is and it is top to bottom stacked with art. Every section has a different thematic and concept and it was super cool to see the different art methods.I found out the space is available for private event rentals and you can also enjoy a complimentary drink! Drinks and Art is seriously the way to my heart. From $30 to the thousands, there is something in everyone's budget to take home a piece of Josh Wingerter's art.You can actually purchase a spray can that he actually uses for his artwork covered in one of his signature prints for $30. It's such a cool concept and a great way to reduce, reuse, recycle. Eco-friendly Art for the win! While I was walking around I discovered he does a lot of community outreach and is actually from Westwego. It makes total sense as to why he wanted to come back home.Josh Wingerter has actually displayed his work and done galleries all over the world including Art Basel in Miami. I'm really excited to follow him on social media and come back for future events! This is an absolute must visit for anyone in the area or wanting a fun and unique trip. It's at most 20-30 minutes from Orleans Parish.
