“VERY cute shop and Rhonda (the owner) and her husband Lee were amazingly welcome and helpful. It was clear Rhonda loves what she does and sells. She even designed her own NOLA logo and put it on a sweatshirt, making it unique to the large quantity of tourist shops along Decatur. Highly recommend popping in. There's surely something for everyone here!”
“Had an absolutely wonderful experience in your store today with Lisa and another beautiful young lady. My Dad and I were made to feel like family. They were both extremely patient and even going to great lengths to call their suppliers. I ended up leaving with a beautiful pair of leather boots that will surely last me decades. I would gladly travel 20 hours (from New Zealand) again!! I would highly recommend!!!”

“My husband and I LOVE this store! You can find a unique gift for anyone here. Cool handmade earrings, funny greeting cards, local art, and more. Of course there are times when they close early (hello, COVID!) but the owner always posts it on her Instagram so we just check in advance if we plan on going. I have three pairs of earrings myself and they're adorable and so well made. This place is a gem for locals and tourists alike. Support local businesses!”

“Like the best parts of New Orleans it is strange and wonderful and filled with surprises. We frequented this shop no less than 3 times in the same week and we never walked out empty handed. Some reviews suggest the prices are high-I did not find that to be the case. The variety was crazy, the quality of products solid and the staff were super kind and helpful. I am a bit annoyed (but I understand) the all sales final policy. I had bought a mask for my son and it didn't end up fitting him. So we bought another. Oh well. But this is the perfect store for prepare shopping.”

“There are countless shops in New Orleans, and a million different ways to spend your money. But SCSC is different and special—it’s a gorgeous boutique owned and curated by two local women who are warm and attentive and discerning, and who obviously care as much about their clientele as they do about the clothing, jewelry, and home decor they carry. Most of what you’ll see is designed by women from around the world, or it’s fabulous vintage (sometimes reimagined, Mardi-Gras style). Everything is fun and colorful and unique, and the jewelry is amazing. I’ll never forget when I was at a restaurant in Massachusetts and a woman at the next table over pointed to my necklace. “Is that a Saint Claude piece?” she asked. Then we had a little gush-fest about how much we both adore SCSC. I take all my visiting friends to this lovely little local shop, and they always leave with some new beautiful something—and a little more bounce in their step.”

This shop is perfect when you want gift someone a piece of the city or as DNO stands for "Defend New Orleans". I love the complimentary stickers they offer.
