Chickens Pretty good but their prices for beer is dollars above competition. For example corona 6 pack is 13.09 with tax while majority sell it 10.91 with the tax.

Westwego Brothers is only one I know that has to close at 5am just for shift change. This new crew started that. People pick wrong time to do that, they lose so many customers.

I can't count the many times that I have had a bad experience more than once. This all started when a new lady became manager. So needless to say it hasn't been pleasant. I truly believe it's racial profiling because certain ethnic background she treats with kindness. So first encounter I purchased cups of ice....she goes to tell me that they don't ring up cups of ice....the many times I have come before why all of a sudden now you don't allow purchase cups of ice. So I stopped going for awhile because of her unprofessionalism and the nerve to call yourself a manager. So fast forward I had to make a stop when the other store by me was closed. I stop in to get some chicken and lottery tickets. She proceeds to hide herself behind the counter when I know she saw me wanting to purchase chicken so I proceeded to ask politely if anyone is serving chicken since she is purposely ignoring me so while waiting on chicken I proceeded to go ahead and get my lottery tickets hand her the slips and she looks at me stupidly so I asked her if she didn't want to run them I can go to another cashier. She made a deep sigh and snatched the tickets out my hand and returned my change slammed down on the counter. So different day when I needed to pay my lottery tickets at approx 8:45 pm she said it's closed when I hand her the tickets. I asked why is it closed her answer it's closed and shrugs her shoulder. If I am not mistaken lottery stops either 9 or 9:30. This lady doesn't need to be a manager period. I didn't know racial profiling still existed but the sad part it does still. I didn't determine my race and besides that fact I am proud of my ethnicity. I have been in customer service long enough to know how to handle myself professionally. Why give someone a title that clearly they need retraining all together or another type of job.

Great little store! Well stocked convenience store. I went there for the fried chicken. My first time eating Brothers chicken. Loved it! Had boudin balls, too. Yum!
