“This place. There are no words to describe the emotions that go through you as you walk this space; they run the gamut of extreme anger to buoyant joy but always as a backdrop to the awe of the beauty and the appreciation of the creativity that envelops the space. These artists, wow. My favorite piece was the so simple yet poignant bench in the midst of cotton turning into flowers (mic dropped). The other pieces paying homage to black leaders (I loved the John Lewis portrait- he is not lauded enough) are great and expected but the cotton turning into flowers… please go and visit and let this space speak to your heart.”

622 Royal St, New Orleans“This felt like a walking into a museum. We were a bit surprised we were welcomed in even though they were closing in just 15 minutes. But everyone who worked here was friendly and kept suggesting different pieces to go check out. There were so many different pieces from every era. Everything was in exquisite condition and out in the open to fully view. It is such an interesting collection and definitely worth stopping in!”
“I have been collecting Thomas Mann for over 30 years. Never have I had a problem with any piece I have purchased. The quality is wonderful. The design is unique and both romantic and modern. It is the best jeweler in New Orleans hands-down, and I have been to them all. If you appreciate unusual jewelry that people comment on constantly, do yourself a favor and explore the world of Thomas Mann. You will be intrigued and charmed.”
11AM - 6PM
7124 St Claude Ave, Arabi“As unique as they come and worth a long browse to see the eclectic mix of antiques, art, vintage and ….(fill in the blank). Take a peak in the restroom too which has a confessional theme. Loved this place.”
“The best place on earth. It's a store that sells silly monsters and art. Affordable, unique, and worth the visit. If you don't go when your in NOLA, who even are you”
“Must see when in NOLA and on Magazine Street. Had the pleasure of speaking with the artists wife and she was awesome! Love Terrance’s use of vibrant color. You can purchase prints or signed prints there.”
“This shop and the artists are so amazing! Very accommodating, professional and they create some incredible art. Came from out of town to get work done here with my boyfriend and we couldn't be happier with our experience and ink! Highly recommend!”
“Cute shop with lots of fun pieces in a variety of styles. Some are made by local artists too. There's paintings, photos, books, jewelery, t-shirts, posters, and more. Definitely worth checking out if in the area.”

343 Royal St, New Orleans“The place caught my eye after hours. Made a point to head back the next day. I’m so glad I did. The pieces are absolutely stunning. Gorgeous. The staff - especially Troy Fields the sales manager - was amazing. Friendly, knowledgeable. I had to buy a piece and I cannot wait to hang it up in my living room! Highly recommend a visit if you’re in New Orleans.”
“What an amazing experience thanks to Dominic!!! We decided to make our Nola trip special by having our first tattoos! Dom talked us thro everything, explained every step, advised on the design and made the whole experience more than we could have hoped for! Thank you so much we loved the result! V&R xxx”
“Awesome little store!! Owner is a super nice! Struck up a great conversation with her as she fed us king cake. Some really great art\prints\etc to be found here. Go here.”
“We stumbled upon this place the other day and came across a VERY eclectic collection of what I'd call furniture art. Everything from something Genghis Khan would have had to the front of an old automobile as a love seat. You could visit as if you were going to an museum.”
“One the best Magazine St boutiques! So many sweet treasures-- cute NOLA tees and prints, earrings, lovely lotions and nail polishes, little ceramics, and some sweet vintage finds. Highly recommend popping in!”
“A nice variety of fine craft and fine art. Closed on Wednesdays. Art openings every first Saturday. Laurie, Deyette and Lisa are very helpful. A good assortment but nor limited to local Artisans. Exceptional Jewely. Paintings in all mediums, ceramic sculptures and functional clay pieces.”
10AM - 6PM
611 Royal St, New Orleans“The art here is wonderful. If you have pets (and especially if you have weenie dogs) you will like what they have. The staff is friendly and informed. The gallery can ship prints and items to you and they do a very nice job of packaging the items. They were kind enough to have the artist enscribe the back of the piece with a personalized message. I'm looking forward to getting more from this gallery in the future, and I think any dog or cat lover would be happy with any of these pieces as a gift.”
“I absolutely love this place. We've been buying artwork, apparel and other items from Cocoally for almost 13 years. This was our first time in this boutique and were so excited to actually meet Ally. She even took our picture for us. It's a must if you're ever in NOLA.”
“Absolutely enchanted by the way Frank Relle captures nature! I was impressed by his work online, but there's nothing quite like seeing the real deal in person. You can tell he shoots them with the purpose of making the viewer feel like part of the scene. The lighting is so perfect you feel like you can walk into each photograph. This is not your average stuffy gallery. The staff here elevate the experience by being warm, approachable and knowledgable about the artists approach to the medium. The video walking you behind the scenes was a nice touch; it leaves you feeling honored to have witnessed the creative process that led to works of art surrounding you. If you have space in your home or office, you won't be able to walk away without taking a piece with you.”
“This is a wonderful Voodoo shop with many options to buy spiritual related items. Voodoo is a religion long misunderstood, and just talking to the staff, you can understand it much better for what it really is. I wasn’t planning, but I decided to have a spiritual consultation last minute, and I’m so glad I did! I had a wonderful reading with Kamille, who is such an amazing person and provided an amazing reading. She was SO on point and brought me a lot of clarity and peace. I’m grateful to have met such beautiful souls like you, Kamille! Thank you for your outstanding work!”

3027 Chartres St, New Orleans“Just go! Some superb works in here. I love the style. Picked a few very keenly priced smaller works but skys the limit. Our server was super nice, and we chatted loads over WWOZ radio....what more you want? Thanks so much. ❤️?”
“If you have an event in Nola you need to do it at the Firehouse Loft! If you're considering other venues, don't. The venue is gorgeous, the owner and staff are super helpful and the nicest people.Preamble: We live outside Louisiana and were coming for celebration of life for my father, New Orleans style, looking for a venue that would suit the vibe we were looking for. Once we found Firehouse we realized quickly we couldn't do it anywhere else. The Venue: Modern, yet historic. The building is a converted firehouse, as the name implies. Sean, the owner, and his team did a great job elevating the space into something modern and conversational. Every detail was done tastefully, from the art, furniture, to general flow for any event size. They typically are tailored to festive, work or personal, events but even as a celebration of life the venue was perfect. The Staff: Sean and his team were super communicative throughout the process, even going above and beyond in the planning stage and throughout the event and after. They have vendors that support any festivity and can accommodate all price points. For reference, we only rented the space and a bartender to serve wine and beer, but they ramp up options from there.I cannot say enough about both the staff and venue. It is hard to fault the space in any form. The only real criticism I could render is that the space does not have an elevator, which in the case of our party was not a problem but could be if attendees have mobility problems. The space is on the second floor so be aware of that. I know overly glowing reviews typically raise an eyebrow or two, but there is almost nothing to fault and I struggled to find one, so there you go. Again, truly appreciate Firehouse Loft and Sean's team for everything they did.”
“Simon is a talented artist and his artwork found throughout New Orleans is instantly recognizable. He created a beautiful customized art piece for our wedding. Instead of a standard guestbook, we asked our guests to leave us a message on the sign. We will treasure this piece forever! Recommend coming by, checking out some of his art, and chatting with him if he is around!”
11AM - 5PM
730 Royal St, New Orleans“Absolute must gallery to go while in New orleans. George Rodrique's work featuring his beloved Blue Dog speaks to the true unique fabric that is Louisiana. The staff is amazing, helpful and well educated in this truly iconic one of a kind artists' collection.”
“One of my favorite spots in the New Orleans art scene is the Stella Jones Gallery. This 'unicorn in the art gallery market' champions the work of local artists of color, showcasing their talent alongside established masters. It's a place where art speaks not just to the eyes, but to the soul, prompting conversations about race, identity, and the human experience”

4436 Veterans Memorial Blvd #29A, Metairie“Impressive selection of local pieces, jazz fest prints framed and ready to go. My go to for LSU themed gifts and area high schools are represented in inventory as well. Don't forget to check out some of their Mr Bingle pieces for Christmas, gifts or decor for your home. Service is personable and professional, the owner is a pleasure to deal with.”

“What a lovely sunny and spacious gallery on three floors, filled with these wild perspectives in heavy impasto depicting the spirit and vibration of New Orleans. It was wonderful to have the opportunity to write here with the New Orleans Writing Marathon.”
“One of the most exquisite collections I've had the pleasure of viewing. The store is expertly staged with one of a kind finds. It's very organized and clean. Fine Antiques, phenomenal vintage and luxury decor in their description is not an exaggeration. As another reviewer stated, that deserves to be repeated, this is definitely a secret that needs to get out. The customer service was top notch, and they ship anywhere as well. STOP. IN. TODAY!”
“I had the pleasure of discovering Zack Smith Photographer while searching for a skilled photographer for our 2024 summit in New Orleans, Louisiana. After reading numerous glowing reviews about Zack's ability to create a comfortable atmosphere for his subjects, I decided to give him a try, and I am thrilled with the results.Zack's talent and professionalism were evident from the moment we met.
