Pump automatic shutoff was broken causing gas to come pouring out of my tank. Luckily it was pumping extremely slowly I was paying attention and shut if off before too much spilled on the ground. When I informed the lady at the register she simply said she would let the attendant know. No apology. No offer to refund me for the wasted gas and health hazard. Get gasoline somewhere else.

Omg, this place was delicious! After the eggplant appetizer, we had little room left for the entrees, but we ate them anyway. Lol. I would definitely recommend this pla

The portions are huge, but you may wish they weren't. Price was cheap, food was subpar.

Hidden gem! We couldn't find Boudreaux's at first because it is actually IN the gas station Just park up to side of the chevron and go on in- we were there at 10:45 for breakfast and got piping hot fresh Beignets which were dEElicious! They were just serving lunch so we got an order of red beans and rice to go - they were hot and delicious with just the right spice served with grilled poboy bread that was hot and crusty and wrapped separately with foil. All that food for under $10 and it was authentic and so tasty!! We can't wait to go again!

The restroom was clean and the gumbo was awesome. I wish I gotten the large instead of the small but it was very tasty.

Huge portions for a cheap price. The servers seemed nice, but the food isn't that good.

The budroaues cafe is the best spot for chenen tenders & dip sause that rival Caines. Gumbo is absolutely delicious. Get extra french bread.

Great food, friendly service, convenient to I-20, clean, and affordable. We will definitely stop again on our next trip through Louisiana. The roast beef Poboy and gravy was a real treat.

So let me start this review with a little bit of background on my Cajun/Creole food experience. I'm northeast Louisiana born and raised. I've eaten Cajun/Creole food all over north and south Louisiana I've had some very delicious meals. We called in a lunch order for our office here. Just about Everything was hot and fresh, Co-workers who got the red beans and rice said it was good, that they would get it again. One got the jambalaya and they also liked it. I went with a roast beef poboy with a cup of seafood gumbo to go along with it. Staring off with the good, the poboy was great, very tender meat, the gravy had a good flavor but was missing the thick consistency, and the most important thing about a poboy to me is the bread and they use a real poboy bread!!! Now on to the bad the gumbo was the WORST gumbo I've ever had. I don't know if it was a fluke or what, but it was literally meat and rice in water!! No roux no flavor, it was such a disappointment. I feel bad for the people driving through thinking this is what gumbo is, It's not People trust me it's a whole lot better. As far as restaurants inside gas stations go this place is pretty good, just don't get the gumbo.

What a great find inside the Chevron gas station. I had the shrimp po boy with red beans and rice. A generous portion of crispy fried shrimp on a crusty French bun dressed just the way you want it. The red beans were tender and spiced correctly with chunks of sausage blended in. I got mine to geaux but they do have a small dining area as well. A very tasty and filling sandwich for $7.99.

Don't let the location fool you - in the Chevron station. My jambalaya was excellent! Large food portions. Fast and friendly service. Stop in for quick authentic Cajun food!
