This store is horrible. The manager crystal stopped my 10 year old daughter, accused her of stealing and wanting to look in her purse, Then after not seeing anything, she then told my daughter to hurry up and leave her store cause she looks suspicious and was calling the police. She had my daughter coming home crying. My children don’t have to steal they get money everyday. My kids went to this location for years & spent $$$ and never had this problem. Just know I’m in contact with corporate management & I promise this will not happen again. Cause that’s one thing she not going to do is bully little kids. Not mine anyways.

I was shopping at dollar general in violet, and this lady manager, I actually thought she was homeless, but turns out she was the manager, kept making weird noises in the bathroom, then she came out of the bathroom and looked like she was on dope. She asked me if I knew where to get any Adderall.
At that point I got nervous and just left, ended up at a Walgreens instead
The chics name was crystal the whole thing was awful

Check your receipt!! The cashier added a donation for literacy without my consent and she claimed it was an automatic charge. That's the definition of theft! Not cool Dollar General!

On January 11th at around 5:30 pm, my girlfriend told me she saw 7 people without masks in the 10 minutes she was there. I saw on the news that Dollar General is going to pay their employees to get the Covid vaccine.Dollar General, could you please start down here to protect our cashiers since we have some people who are simply ignorant and obviously don't care about others.This is the only local store, besides the Poydras Hardware, that this happens in and it really boggles the mind.Makes you wonder. Thank God, I'm old enough and had my vaccine.
