The sooner you get here, the better! The friendly owner Tommy is considering retirement and the food is *amazing*.The menu offers lots of fried seafood, but we opted for the grilled catfish salad (best catfish I’ve ever had, tender and delicious), plus outstanding boiled blue crabs and shrimp. The casual and kitschy decor was complemented by local Cajun musician Waylon Thibodeaux, who played bayou favorites and offered audience members the chance to try out playing the washboard. If you like the food as much as we did, take home some seasonings and prepared foods.

Our go to restaurant when visiting Oak Alley Plantation. The food is served hot and fresh; the French bread is soft and succulent; moreover, the fried catfish is delicious and always taste like it’s fresh caught out back. Our waitress Kathleen , greats us with a smile and it is nice to see her friendly face; my wife and I look forward to seeing her, every year when we visit. This year they were finally back open from the detestation of hurricane IDA. So, mustachman is asking everyone to go get some lunch, take some pictures and share with your friends. Also, to all the natives and frequent customers; there was a gator ? in the back part of the restaurant that was lost, I know you remember the one. It’s gone , however, if you have any pictures of family with the gator, I would love to see them. I was hoping we could start a picture wall with all our photos throughout the years. You can find me on Facebook, YouTube, Twitter, or just post them here in google. Tell them yourmustachman sent you! Also hit that like and don’t forget to follow! TY Also, the bathrooms are always well kept.

Very yummy! We got multiple dishes to share and weren't disappointed by any of them. We got frog legs, rabbit gumbo, alligator bbq nuggets, gator burger, corn nuggets, hush puppies, crab balls, everything was delicious and everyone was super friendly. We got there late and they were super accommodating! Will definitely return!

We had a lunch here after a tour at the Laura Plantation. The soft shell crab poboy was almost a perfection. The gumbo was one of the best, if not the best, that I ever had with extremely tasty seafood broth. We also had a grilled seafood platter that came with oysters, shrimp and fish. A bit salty which is a common theme here in NOLA but they were fresh. A must visit after the Laura Plantation.

I went to B&C after a tour of Laura Plantation. We needed to find a place for lunch. We arrived at the place and by the looks of the outside of the place I was not impressed. I'm glad we decided to go inside. The server was local, polite, and knowledgeable. I live in southern Louisiana so I know what authentic local food should taste like. I was not disappointed. We had a cup of smoked rabbit gumbo as an appetizer then butter beans and shrimp served with fried catfish an cornbread. The food from B&C tasted exactly like my grandma's cooking. I will definitely be back!
