Petsense handles the grooming for my one year old mini dachshund Bonnie Blue. The girls working in Grooming are the sweetest young ladies ever. Bonnie gets excited when we walk up to the building, even more so when she's in the groomers office. It's very clean and efficiently run office. We've never had to wait to be seen. On nail clipping days appointments aren't made, simply walk in, she's taken to the clipping area where I can stay or do shopping in store. The Grooming Department is such a convenience,lots cheaper than the groomers I've used in the past. I will happily continue to do business with Petsense Grooming.

Both staff members were too busy talking to a friend of theirs to bother talking to me. When I walked up it was as if I bothered them by wanting to check out. She proceeded to say “put your number in” but never explained what for and as a first time customer I have no idea why she’s asking for my number. I only was buying one item and I very rarely use plastic bags. So I said to Allison “I don’t really need a bag” she proceeded to roll her eyes and say “huh okay then”. After that the tone in which I was spoken to was as if I slapped her mother. Needless to say I’ll never be back.

They have things that normal pet stores don't have. It's a little on the pricey side. But the staff are always friendly and there to help you. They also have pet adoptions there. I bought a male tabby cat from there. And he has been an amazing addition to the family!

My experience was wonderful! They have some many items for varieties of pets. We have 2 dogs, a cat , a cockatiel and a turtle so this is a good place for us to shop. We were out in the Thibodaux area so we wanted to shop here. We normally go to the PetSense in LaPlace. The store is well stocked as was the rest room as well as being clean and attended to. It was also easy for me to use as I use a wheelchair. The store has wide enough aisles to use my wheelchair in also. I loved looking at the other pets waiting for someone to take them home with them. Kudos to the PetSense Mgrs and staff! As a note; We also love our TSC in Laplace.

The small animals they sell here are kept in ridiculously small enclosures. They had this poor Guinea pig by itself in a container I wouldn’t even put a hamster in. I wouldn’t trust them with your pets needs - not to mention they were selling a bird cage 2 times smaller than the one I own, but 2 times more expensive. Stick to cheaper and more caring pet stores.
