“They have really interesting items you don’t see at most grocery stores. The lady checking people out was very personable and seemed to know customers by name. And most importantly.. THEY HAVE BOAR’S HEAD! Only place in Nola I’ve found it.”
“If you're looking for great poboys look no further. Roast beef was amazing. Just the right amount of gravy and mayo to make it just right. My son had shrimp poboy and loved it. My husband had the cheeseburger and gave high reviews.”
“My friend Elaine loves this place. When she visits New Orleans, she always buys 10 pounds of their alligator sausage to take home to Cleveland, OH. On this day, they were closed. She will be back, though!”
“The family that runs the store are very friendly, and nice all of the time !! Oh and btw they have the best crawfish in town!!! I would highly recommend this store”
“I stopped in after towing a car from Jackson ms down to the area and wanted some hot fresh Boudin to eat on the way back to Jackson. Right from the start the customer service was excellent and very friendly. I bought some hot boudin and a few packs to take back plus a debunked chicken and other things. I have eaten Boudin from all across the south and grew up in the cajun restaurant and meat market business. And I have to say that Chris' Boudin is right up there with my family's. It was delicious. I will update on the rest later once I have cooked and ate it. But I will definitely be keeping this place in my address book for when I'm even passing near the area. Thank you so much”
