My a/c went out in my truck and a mechanic said it needed a new compressor. Fast-forward two years with no a/c. My wife takes my truck to Sulphur Automotive and Mark charges the system with dye, finds and fixes the leak, and only charges $120. Plus he fixed a miss on cylinder 5 due to a bad connection and doesn't even charge me for that. It's nice to have an honest mechanic that you can trust.

I’m from outta town working at West Lake and after a 12 hour shift on the way to my motel room my ball joint broke on the exit ramp. I got a tow to another shop on Napoleon Rd and was quoted in the $1,500-$2,000 range. Thinking they were taking advantage of me I told the AAA driver not to drop it there and called Sulphur Automotive. They said that sounds awfully high but he’d have to look at it to see if anything else was damaged. I got it over there and after looking it over he said I was lucky and nothing else was damaged but did suggest replacing a couple things when I was able to and he’d be glad to do the work when I was ready. He was able to squeeze me in and get me done that day and for a fraction of the cost. Everyone was polite and pleasant to talk to. Thank you for not trying to take advantage of me knowing I was from outta town and working at the plant. If I lived here this would be where I would take my vehicles when they needed something.

I was on my roadtrip to Austin and broke down here. I have been stuck for a while here and worried I would have to get a new car. Anywhere else I would have been charged double just for the man hours. These guys worked persistently and They got my car fixed all at a great price. Least i can do is leave a review.

I needed car repair from this shop and the owner had a professional job done I never had any more problems with my car after I paid him for my used transmission I paid and my receipt showed I payed 500 less so I think that part was technical error. When I needed a new receipt almost two years later .

They took care of us every time we needed them. They Worked out a great deal for us. Seems like a good Christian business and they conduct their business honestly. Both of my vehicles needed major repairs and the owner was understanding and did as much as he could to help us. These folks earned my business.

I rarely leave a review but I have to because of the awesome service I received. My F450 Broke down so I looked online for a list of places and Sulphur Automotive caught my eye. So I called and explained what had happened my truck not even click and smelled the burn under the hood. I had a tow truck haul it there. (This was 12-24-2022) The tow truck picked it up and bring it to him. It arrived there a little before 2pm and they called me and told me that my alternator had burned up and my batteries were dead. (I had purchased to new batteries and had them in the back seat in case they needed them) So I gave them the go ahead to repair it and asked them to change the belt also because it had been on there before I got the truck which I purchased used. They called me at 4:15 and told me my truck was completed and running great. They had to use my new batteries and returned the old ones to me to warranty them out. I want to say they were quick. I know places can't be quick all the time. They were professional and did an awesome job. They were totally honest with me. I felt very comfortable using them. They were also good priced.
