This is the only grocery store in town, everything is severely overpriced, the deli meat and bakery is not as fresh as other stores and at times are downright disgusting and should not be sold. They definitely price gouge and take advantage of it being the only store in town, if you have time it's worth driving to Ponchatoula or Hammond to go grocery shopping other than that you spend $50 every time you go for two or three things. It's a great location though the entire Community has to shop here or go out of town, something should be done about that don't you think?

This place is horrible. Managers are rude and antagonizing, prices are too high, and the store is dirty. The only upside is the nice employees.

Of all of the Carters in the area this one is the least impressive. Bathrooms are dirty, produce is low quality with low selections.Like most Carters, the checkers aren't very polite.

I highly recommend shopping here for all your grocery needs. They have all sorts of products for you to choose from and fresh produce. The checkout lines are not long at all and staff is always very friendly. They are always in stock and always restocking. When the hurricane hit they were open and ready to help everyone in need. Overall I had a very friendly and pleasant experience!

Prices are wayyyy to expensive, have heard stories from workers about how the management is not so good, and the “fresh” produce is not fresh I have found several moldy items in produce including the tomatoes and potatoes. Do not recommend this store to anyone. The owner seems to be greedy and not care about the well-being of customers.

Carter’s is a great grocery store! They have lots of great options, but my favorite thing is that most of the time, they are playing Christian music!!! Food offerings, my favorite thing there is the FRESH SUSHI!!!I do wish they’d find a new location so the store could be bigger and nicer.

The staff OINKED at my sister as she checked out. VERY RUDE STAFF. My sister just had a baby and asked if they had formula, they staff didn't know if they carried it. She said that she was so humiliated by the "little girls" The one that oinked at her and said she had a "fat stomach" was named Amanda. -I'm also disgusted as I recently moved to this area. We will NOT SHOP HERE AGAIN.

Good store and good service. Only gave 4 stars because some of their prices are high and sometimes they don't have some items that you need. But otherwise good store.
