I have driven by this place many times on my trips between New Orleans and Baton Rouge and told myself that one day I will stop in. Well I finally stopped in, and let me tell you, I regret not stopping in sooner. All the items are hand made by artists in Louisiana. Pottery, paintings, cards, and so much more. The employees are so friendly. I look forward to stopping in again in the future, whether by myself or with friends and visitors.

Driving on I-10 between Baton Rouge and New Orleans, I have seen the sign so many times and thought to myself, I should stop in and look around, but I never have. Until now. I had a random weekday off and was driving somewhere else and decided I should just stop in and look around. I am sure glad I did. There are several buildings here, some are not open to the public. One building is an antique store, one a Cajun store, and this pottery place, the signs at the entrance state it is the Cajun Village. All of the employees are so friendly. All of the items in Louisiana Pottery are made by artists from Louisiana. So very interesting. I could have spent all my money here. If your in the area, or just driving the 10, stop in. Take a look around. Gifts for anyone and everyone, including something for yourself. It was all reasonably priced. I am simply amazed at all of the items.
