Definitely a little hidden gem! We would pass by every time on our way to Baton Rouge and finally decided to stop. Great little outing!

We passed this place on our way to our campground and decided it looked worth checking out. We stopped by the next day and are glad we did. One of the shops there sells olives, olive oil, and vinegars, among other things. I like to cook, so of course, we had to go peruse. The store owner was very friendly and informative and even allowed us to taste test some of the products. We ended up purchasing two bottles of olive oil (garlic parmesan and zesty onion) as well as a jar of savory Italian garlic. Believe it or not, the garlic was so good they could be eaten all by themselves, like pickles! The owner says they do ship, though she doesn't have her online store set up yet, so you need to call and order from her directly. We also bought a t-shirt and stickers from one of the stores and, on the advice of the olive oil store owner, some teriyaki jerky from the Black Market Provisions store (which smelled heavenly!). We also got to see one of the alligators out back. If you like stopping at off-the-beaten path eclectic places, this is a place that is well worth the stop.

Nice place to visit - several shops with Cajun souvenirs. There's a place to eat, an alligator out back and bathrooms, but it's VERY small! You have to leave the door open unless you want to kiss the door, if you know what I mean.

The Cajun Village, with all of it's unique shops, boutiques and restaurant is a favorite stop in Sorrento, not far off the I-10. There is an antique store, a gift shop with the largest variety of everything Cajun, a wonderful restaurant, a meat store, and other shops, each in historic Cajun buildings. The sound of some true Cajun music is playing as you meander through the village, stepping into each establishment. You are sure to find something there that makes you smile!

Cute place to visit, prices are a couple of dollars too high but still like to go every time I'm in town.

Cajun Village was my personal favorite souvenir shop in Southern Louisiana. The shop has anything you could think of- food items, LSU apparel, Louisiana t-shirts, toys for kids, magnets, candy, you name it. Nice and cool on the inside and a rustique vibe. Enjoyed this little pitstop when traveling from Baton Rouge to New Orleans.

A must stop for locals and visitors. Grab a bite to eat. They have really good authentic Cajun food. The shops have every kind of Louisiana treasure and gift you could possibly imagine. Get you some crawfish jelly, some original Louisiana artwork, some Cajun seasonings and they have the largest selection of LSU gear I've ever seen!

Loved this place-so much to choose from-food, souvenirs, cookbooks, kid's stuff, shirts, etc.-packed into this little village on the side of the road. The owner was very nice & the prices were reasonable.....will definitely come back on future visits to the area......

A couple shops open. Not ADA environment. Probably nice when it is open and if you don't have any mobility issues. Bummed the pottery store was one of the majority of shops closed. The 2 open shops you could find anywhere.
