“This is really full of treasures! Packed with antiques, knick knacks, kitch, and so much. I have wanted to come to the Cajun Village and this store for some time now. I am glad I finally took the opportunity. There is a gift for almost everyone.”

“We passed this place on our way to our campground and decided it looked worth checking out. We stopped by the next day and are glad we did. One of the shops there sells olives, olive oil, and vinegars, among other things. I like to cook, so of course, we had to go peruse. The store owner was very friendly and informative and even allowed us to taste test some of the products. We ended up purchasing two bottles of olive oil (garlic parmesan and zesty onion) as well as a jar of savory Italian garlic. Believe it or not, the garlic was so good they could be eaten all by themselves, like pickles! The owner says they do ship, though she doesn't have her online store set up yet, so you need to call and order from her directly. We also bought a t-shirt and stickers from one of the stores and, on the advice of the olive oil store owner, some teriyaki jerky from the Black Market Provisions store (which smelled heavenly!). We also got to see one of the alligators out back. If you like stopping at off-the-beaten path eclectic places, this is a place that is well worth the stop.”

“This place was excellent. I was in the Mallard room visiting family for Christmas during the big freeze. So comfy and clean. Plenty of items left for breakfast and snacks. A real jewel. I was all toasty in the huge bed. Kay has a really neat shop on the bottom floor. Loved it. Donaldsonville is a cool town. First and last chance has the best p boys. It is a rural town and very pretty.”
