So I go in today and ask for help. Girl working on the aisle who didn't get out of my way when I was selecting a product told me oh they're over there somewhere. Didn't bother to help me at all. Didn't find what I was looking for. I go to check out and the two girls are just talking away about somebody's birthday and how they shine . Never greeted me or said hello. Girl gave me my change in my hand all bunched up. This is the worst service I've ever had in a store. Think I will try a different Walgreens next time.. People's worth ethic are sad nowadays..

The lady in the photo department is rude and lied to my face I got there about 7:15pm to do a book and I asked how long would it takes I needed it in a hour. She stated it takes how's. I'm like how u don't have orders but ok. But I use to work for walgreens 16 years in the photo lab I know the deal. She was just being lazy. No orders just doing nothing I'm sooo aggravated cause this book was a gift for my friend that I needed tonight. She just lost her nephew and I wanted to surprise her now I can't do to your employees being lazy. I will be going to cvs I hate the stuff that works on Saturdays . U should call ur store LAZY PEOPLE STORE instead of Walgreens ????????

Absolute WORST drive thru pharmacy! Waiting in line for over 40 minutes after they returned from their “lunch break” and the line still hasn’t moved! Line starting around the building! Then you get to the window and receive the worst customer service from someone who apparently doesn’t like their job!

Part 3 of my story. Not sure why I could not post more than 1 review without having to log into another account, but here is the rest.3. My latest experience is what triggered this. On 12/12 I went on line to initiate a refill for my script. I received an email it would be ready for pick up at 2pm the next day. I did not see the delay email I received about an hour after I got the confirmation. I went in to pick it up I think on the 15th. At that time the pharmacist indicated it was too soon to fill it and she said I needed to come back on the 19th. Fine… I had a few caps left of my medication. On 12/23 I requested a refill again on line and received a confirmation that I could pick it up at 2pm that afternoon. I waited until the next day and when I went in to pick it up the tech told me I had no prescription filled or one that could be picked up or refilled. She was very abrupt and abrasive too, like the others I have dealt with. I said well I have a confirmation and the pharmacist told me that when I came before it was too soon and now I’m being told I have nothing to fill but the website/online did not say “ no,” you have not script to fill. So I was trying to understand how this was happening and the tech was annoyed at having to explain. I asked how is it that I was able to request the refill on line and last week I was told I needed to come back? She said she didn’t know she has nothing. Then she said you have 2 in the system that are “do not fills” before a certain date. I get that but what was the one then that I was told to come back later for, where is that one then? She just said she didn’t know and did apologize, but she did not want to seek a resolution with me at all. So then I ask, because I want an answer and to understand what happened and not be discounted, so when I request a refill on line or in the app.. do you not get a list of those requests in the am to start the day? You did not see my refill request and after your review, saw there may be a problem? It vanished because apparently now the script I was trying to fill was expired? What I see is a confirmation to pick it up and you are saying you get nothing about my request to trigger you or another employee to fire off a text, that I have been signed up to receive from the beginning of time, to tell me there is an issue or to contact the pharmacy? No email saying there is a problem this time or your script is expired, nor a simple phone call? They just ignored it? Is that safe practice to Walgreens? Again, I'm not sure if there is a breakdown between what comes into the store on the app or if there is a training deficit or a need for a customer service course refresher, but the tech telling me they do get a list to check every am, tells me they made a choice not to contact the customer about the issue with my request. I get the holidays are busy and they are busy in general, but this is a patient safety issue in my opinion. I did have to miss doses of my medication while I waited for my prescriber to send in a new script. My provider had to do this even though I told her on 12/12 at my follow up appt that I did not need it because I just refilled my meds on line at Walgreens, and got a confirmation email. This is why the other 2 scripts on file were do not fills at a later date in Jan. I hope that SOMEONE who can initiate real changes, actually does so. Clearly this is a consistent experience. As an advocate for those with low prescription/health literacy, I hope there are corrections that occur so that the staff of this store become more proactive and remember why they are in the field of work they are in. Treat people how YOU would like to be treated. Have forethought.

Horrible pharmacy staff. Extremely rude and unhelpful. Nasty attitudes! Lied about having the medication that I needed desperately. Second month in a row the same issue. Multiple employees. I called corporate and they told me that they had them and the quantity they had in stock at the store so I had to ask to speak to the pharmacist to get my medication. It’s crazy that they would lie to people and with whole medication that people depend on to live. Definitely need to fire EVERYONE and get all new staff in the pharmacy. Lazy I guess is why cuz I can’t think of any other reason. Smh

This has to be the worst pharmacy in Slidell. Every time you come here the employees are rude and they tell you come back in 2 -3 hours. It’s really sad. They need major help & customer service skills.

The absolute worst that I have ever been treated at a pharmacy. Horrible customer service needs to be taught. I understand people go through things. But I was an absolute gentleman. And the persons behind the counter were absolutely disgustingly rude

There’s 2 cashiers in the pharmacy one is a black lady she works at the window she was very nice. The white lady works at the window she was very rude and disrespectful. The pharmacist is oriental she was very nice. The one at the window was one of the rudest and disrespectful people I have met. There was a little old lady inquiring about her medication. This girl talked to that little lady so bad I wanted to go off on her. I can’t understand why people are so rude to the elderly. She needs not to work with the public with that attitude.

They are very slow waiting on you sometimes they cannot find your prescription. Then when you call they say? Yeah. We have 3 then when you go back down there they came find me a prescription again. I've been on the phone for32minutes waiting for someone to pick up. For the past 4 months I have?Then having nothing but trouble with this pharmacy.

Pharmacy is painfully slow. Been sucking it up for awhile because it’s close to home hoping it would improve but after over a year it hasn’t. Don’t get your prescriptions here if you can help it.

Rudest pharmacy staff I have ever encountered. Sucked it up for years but finally got enough. At least 3 different staff members have been consistently RUDE when asked a simple question!! I complained via survey and also talked to the pharmacy manager but still moved my and my sons prescriptions . Looking at the reviews I see this is a common thread. The store is very close to my home and I still prefer to go a distance to be treated respectfully! DO BETTER WALGREENS.
