I know people never read reviews, and I'm not looking for attention. My only point is awareness, and with a heavy heart. Please avoid this veterinary clinic by all means, necessary and unnecessary. They charged me $+700 in fines and fees && for antibiotics for my baby , and never told me they wouldn't help and he wouldn't make it anyway. They ran every test under the roof, yet told me my baby would be fine with antibiotics, hydration and attention. He was euthanized a week later, at MedVet ( my savior in this time ) . Do what you all will with this information, but please avoid this clinic, for your and your baby's sake. It's not safe, nor compassionate. I wish I knew names, but I'm not interested in publicity nor actions. Only awareness. God bless you all.

My dogs love the care they get from their staff. Facility is very clean and organized. My dogs have been seen by multiple doctors at SVH and they have all been competent and thorough with their examinations.

I've been bringing my two cats here for the past 9 years. My daughter also used them for her dog. She told me about them and how great they were so I decided I'd give they a try. The staff and vets there are really great. They are sensitive to your pets needs and also their owners. When I had to put my cat, Sam, down last September the vet and staff were very, very sensitive and caring. They walked us step by step about what and how things were going to be done. They are a great place to board your pets also. A few years ago I boarded my cat, Rainbow, with them. They cared for her and made sure she got her meds. She loves attention and she got a lot of it. I'm very happy and satisfied and will keep them for my cat's continuing care.

Best Doctors and staff. Compassionate, caring and very efficient. I’m so glad we found them. Beaux is getting very good care from these wonderful people.

Just wanted to give a glowing recommendation to Dr. Hammond. Helping my weather phobic dog Jeremy through a surgery and now with some possible hip problems. I appreciate her no bs straight up approach and her professionalism. She is outstanding at what she does.

Dr. Furmin and his staff takes excellent care of my female boxer. His vast medical experience and his love of animals is unmatched. I really appreciate his sensitivity in dealing with the humans as well. He is a trustworthy businessman.

The doctors are nice and the vet techs are nice but the office manager Toni is the rudest, nastiest, most entitled manager I have ever had the displeasure to deal with. Obviously her position has went to her head. I listened to her yell at one of the techs in front me and other client's. She makes what would be a great clinic, subpar with her antics. She needs to go. I will not be keeping my pets there much longer just because of how rude she is. She literally said to me over the phone, "Do you even bring your dogs here?" She said this in the rudest tone. Why would I be calling if my dogs haven't been seen there before? She could of nicely asked me if I was a new client. So much for customer service skills... I don't trust her to work with my animals, considering how ugly and mean-spirited in public she is and she doesn't seem to care who hears her.

I found this place to be all about money not the animals. I don't feel I was explained everything about what was wrong with my pet. I know they remodeled and need money, but not at my expense. Why put an animal through cleaning teeth before finding out what is wrong. I'm glad got 2nd opinion or they could have killed my dog.

Love Slidell Vet Hospital Dr Mahly is such a gift ! Beyond fur baby care but cares for the human parents as well ! She is a blessing. Bring all three of my fur babies here. We switched some years back because we were not satisfied with previous vets. Now we Drive an hour just to continue with the care here.

They have done a great job helping our dog get and stay healthy. Not cheap though.

My mother just called this vet to make an appt to have my dog fixed. The man that answered was beyond rude and actually told us if we didnt like what he had to say them we can go elsewhere!! Really?? What kind of employee says that to an possible client....very very rude and unprofessional. My mother is going there in person to deal with this matter and I hope the Dr knows what kind of people are answering the phones.

We have been taking our pets here for the last 18 years and couldn't be more pleased. They have been wonderful. We are so thankful for their passion for pets and family. Thank you for making the tough moments a little easier over the years.
